You need a permit in Michigan for concealed but not for open. Got to be careful when driving because even if you got it openly on your hip the second you get in a vehicle it is concealed by code. You must put it in your trunk or case with trigger lock.
Due to some Supreme Court ruling last year (I don't know what it was about), the NJ news bureaus are reporting that there has been a large increase in concealed carry permits in NJ. But here's the kick - they don't know why and NJ will now have some committee to figure out why. There are hunters in all states and many of them are the ones who apply for gun permits.
The SCOTUS case was Bruen. The right to carry outside your home. NJ was a De Facto No issue state masquerading as a May issue state. Before the average Joe couldn’t get a NJ carry permit , now they can. I just picked up my NJ permit last week.
Partly tr. Tennessee does have a Constitutional Carry law in effect, BUT there is also troubling wording in the law that is difficult to understand, as it says "with the intent to go armed" is still a crime. So it's actually a grey area and our citizens deserve better.
It took 3 grown ass men yesterday to disassemble my mouse gun. I thought my mother in law bought it for its size and lesser recoil, but JEEZ. You need 3 hands to push in the little pin to pull it out and then the whole cylinder just falls to the ground.
I proudly reside in the Great State of Texas! I wasn't born here but I got here as fast as I could (I think that saying is on many t-shirts). Moved here when I was 12 and I think 43 years later I can call myself a Texan.
Ah, well I believe Texas has a more friendly attitude toward guns than many other states. For personal protection, your Lady Smith makes a LOT more sense than the American Arms mini-pistol.
Delaware is a "may issue" state that mostly acts as "shall issue"...but it may take 6 months to get your permit. Open carry is legal here without a permit.

My home state permit is reciprocal in Michigan.
Jay Inslee and Bob Ferguson are trying their hardest to ban guns in Washington State.

Thanks for that. Good for you!

Hehe...well that's why I sold off the two that I had. No practical for me.
I would have to be attacked by the most polite and patient attacker in order to put him down.
...making a good case for your Lady Smith. What state do you live in?

Best of luck to.
When South Carolina?
The problem with concealed carry in the south is it's mostly too hot to wear enough clothes to keep anything but a derringer concealed.
I can easily conceal my Sig P365XL under shorts and a t-shirt, and I am a fairly slim dude.
Plenty of sub compact 9MM to chose from. Personally I have the entire glock family. Each one has a different purpose.
Truth. Glock FTW
Ain't stopped me for years regardless but it's pretty cool... I mean before the tragic boat accident when I lost them all.
Long ways to go before we reach constitutional rule.
Virginia is a shall issue on CCP; open carry is lawful.

Been in Tennessee for about 20 years. Gets better every year.
