Obviously, few will read much less understand what's in these bills Ron is signing and Con Inc is hyping; just like they hyped Bush's Constitution shredding, Orwellian named Patriot Act.

If DeSantis decides to run and split the vote he's being played for a chump. Maybe he's listening to the GOPe bunch who are telling him if he just dumps MAGA they will "make" him the next president? Of the GOPe thinks that they can peel off enough MAGA voters to vote for DeSantis in 2024? Maybe they thinks DeSantis will either fall in line or lose to Potato Joe - either outcome if fine, in fact they probably would be just as happy to see him lose.
It's sad. Ron has done good things as gov. Now would be a perfect time for him to build his brand. If he did, the 2028 GOP nom would be his to lose. Hell, I bet he would even get a kickass endorsement from Trump with co-rallies and everything.
