I get your sentiment, but that really isn't necessary and would hurt the brand. It would be like Rolex selling a watch at Wal-Mart. Nobody needs a Ferrari, or a Rolex, or most other luxury goods. They're made for people who value nice things and are willing to pay for them. What would life be if there weren't nice things to work towards? What if the best car we could ever get is some ugly boxy thing like old Soviet era cars.
I don't own a Ferrari, but they're fun to look at and as a kid they were fun to dream about. But I imagine both you and I have much better things to spend that money on than a car.
I own an auto repair shop and have some customers that work at Mercedes, most of them drive BMW's (always thought that funny) and they have been confirming that they will be all electric by 2030. Looks like they'll be killing that brand at that time lol.
Great. Now, make one the average person can afford, then I'll be impressed.
That's exactly what I was gonna say. I wanna reward companies that stand up to the lies. Maybe I'll by a Ferrari T-shirt ;)
If the average person could afford one, no one would want one. Nothing wrong with high end brands.
You cannot buy a Ferrari.

Even a rumor that you need to first own a Fiat or other car from them.
You've to own a certified pre-owned Ferrai in order to buy a new Ferrari. This keeps the secondary market high.
Unlike Jaguar they want to know that you can afford their repairs.
I know a guy who upgrades every year or two and profits on his previous model due to this exactly. He is a smart investor and knows this market well.

I drive a Mercedes SUV and it really saddens me that they are pledged to be fully electric by 203x. They have lost me as a customer.

EVs and hybrids will make up an increasing amount of it's production range, they are just committing to not totally do away with combustion engines.
So they aren't saying no to EVs, Breitbart healine writing just blows.
ya bro! now if only i could afford one.
Makes me wish I could buy a Farrari.
I’ll take a Ferrari over a Tesla plaid but both are fun to drive.
I drove a Ford Lightning the other day. Useless as a work truck but OMG it was so frickin’ quick! I wanted it just for that!
Can it not tow? What makes it useless? Do you regularly drive cross-country in your F150?
There's a Ligier Hydrogen car being made for Le Mans as well.
https://www.racetechmag.com/2023/05/bosch-engineering-and-ligier-automotive-launch-hydrogen-racecar
there F1 car is hybrid
The engines/drivetrains are what separates these car companies
If they all were electric, they would all be the same like nascar, but different body
This is good to hear, maybe oneday i can afford one Lol
YES YES YES, now I can convince my wife to let me buy one!!!!
It's not the combustion engine that's the problem; it's the fuel.
There's technology available to make clean alcohol fuels out of bacteria waste.
I really couldn't care less to be honest. Fuck them and their shit "super cars".
works of art, in my opinion
why all the hate?
traces of the communist mind virus
Pieces of overpriced poorly made Italian crap, My opinion.
poorly made?
For a super car yes.
Name a better super car. Out of curiosity.
I've worked on them. Bedminster is correct-they are junk. Beautiful designs though..
