In my opinion, this statement shows exactly your approach because of what you are reacting against. There are a LOT of people who have a positive appreciation for what Musk is doing who do not fall into idol worship or think he's now "our champion" in some idolizing way. The fact that you focus on this particular aspect really indicates that you have that sort of character flaw within yourself, and so you react to that, instead of seeing other aspects of the picture.
On that note, after listening to Musk's interview with Joe Rogan, I come to the conclusion that Musk is the opposite of the WEF transhumanists. Completely different reasoning.
