Corporate defensive measures definitely include an appeal to the public conscience with "death threats omg".
And then they also try to point at ornery people saying they should be hanged on the Internet too.

That's why we really need to bring back cruel and unusual punishments for crimes of a certain magnitude, like propaganda with no sources.
