"Apocaloptimist" - that's a very long word for "anon"
It fits!
Printed below is an even longer word. Think about how government works when using this word,
Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - means Fear of long words
To me, this is exactly how well government works to help people.
Apocanontimist?
We are here, because we can see into the darkness and keep our faith, and optimism.
17th updoot for you! π
I also would say a Christian. The Bible clearly talks about how end times will be. And followers of Christ know how it will end. And plus, itβs easier to pronounce. π
okay but like it could have been a lot clearer.
it says what it needs to say, and that's it. no spoilers
I kinda like that word. I see a song in it.
Just tack on to the ending...
πΌπΆ"Expialidocious!"π΅πΆ
Everybody sing all together!
Glad there's a word to describe what we are as anons who have faith! Well done sir cats!

Lots of anons have shown an interest in having a meeting/reunion/get together when The Storm clouds have passed. We may need to take a vote on location & get organized if there is enough interest.
For anyone interested the actual term is called the Stockdale Paradox. In a few words, it's when everything is curently going to hell, but you still hold an unwavering optimistic perspective that everything will turn out okay at the end.
Many psychologists say this is actually a big key to happiness in life.

I like this!
These systems need to be torn down in order for it to be replaced with better systems.
The only difference I can see is, we don't THINK things will turn out okay, we KNOW they will (as we help as much as we can to make sure). π
"All will be well."
--The motto of the Blue Lantern Corps, whose power rings run on hope
My youngest calls our food storage closet the "Apocalypse closet." She'll appreciate this new word and definition.
Ah! This is me π I love it!
