My Kroger smokes ribs every holiday weekend so I bought mine yesterday to reheat for today!
I just thought something.
Someone said lets have June as family month, which is a great idea.
But why not have a family stretch, starting with mothers day, and ending with father's day?
Oh I kinda like this. I went with prayer month. However we could make each day of the week a prayer for certain family members, each family members could get a color of the rainbow as well.

That’s a great idea… it makes so much more sense to Celebrate things that increase the nuclear family…Along with our Faith in the God that designed and created it, Its the foundation that the quality, Safety, and well being of functioning Society rests upon…
June was initially dedicated to brides, then the rainbow crowd took it over.
Good idea! Maybe that is how we can take back the rainbow? Every family member gets a color - Grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, cousin.

I was talking to my wife this morning about me feeling how God will converse with me if I ask him to. When I am good talking so is he. She said he is the perfect father. What an epiphany for me on Father's day, to celebrate the one father that loves us unconditionally. I strive to be like him every day, for the rest of my days.

I wish i could celebrate with my dad but i live far away now, I just got done moving, and he and i aren't on the best of terms anymore. Such is the life on an awakening kiddo. I wish him the best though.

Would love to see the kids, but they all live so far away....
I have 2 sons, the oldest graduated high school this year, the younger graduates next year. It was a struggle at times, making them dinner, cleaning their room, making them do their homework, getting up at 6am, making lunches and getting them off to school. I know soon they will start their own lives and our home will be more empty. Almost wish I could go back and do it all over again. Time sure does fly.
