Suicide affected my life seriously. The only way I can understand it is as a pain . I know there must be people here who suffer from chronic pain. I am not talking about the kind of pain you can move through. I am talking about the pain that must be treated with some kind of drug. If there is nothing that can treat the horrible pain of depression, just like intense and constant physical pain, that no one will prescribe medicine for, I imagine there are many who just want to end it. If physicians have a way to do that, to end the pain, but choose to just kill the person instead, that is not mercy killing. That is withholding treatment and choosing the cheaper option. On the other hand, I guess a person has a right to do what they want with their life. It's a touchy subject for me. I was 15 when my Mother chose death. I am 73 now, and many times a week, till this day, in a quiet space before I sleep, i ask God why. Suicide causes a lot of collateral damage. Would I put a suffering animal who had no chance of getting better down? Yes. Would I put a human being who had mortal wounds and is screaming in pain, if I had the morphine, yes. Wanting to die because of hard circumstances though? That is lack of God in someones life, and is such a shame, He is always there, never absent. This whole world needs constant prayer, the devil never sleeps.
Time for the Canadian Truckers to return to Ottawa, hold a trial against the prime minister, and start bashing heads. They can then hold a constitutional convention which includes independence from Great Britain.
Yeah I am sure that will go over really well and definitely will not end with the truckers either dead or in prison.
