Yeah, no. polygamy, beastiality, incest and infanticide was way more common in the past. I am sure you would all be crying for medical abortions if you saw a biblical "abortion" so to speak. Likewise, if you witnessed an incestuous orgy you would do anything to come back to modern times to slutty dressing women or vanilla gays
Yeah, there's a reason why God flushed the earth and started over or why he rained down fire 🙏 don't look back!
The flood cleansed the Earth and the second cleaning was Christ. You are speaking of Paganism, which was cast into the shadows for 2000 years and is rearing its ugly head for the past century.
Yeah, that's most certainly true.
The reality is that with the flow of time, Christianity has had a greater and greater impact on the societies it has come into contact with. So that over time, in fact, the society curve is upward.
Christianity has ALWAYS been radical, and in a sense 'extreme' in comparison with the world around it.
It's just that with the 20th century, we came to the time period 2000 years after Jesus, and with that, evil reared its ugly head to influence the world ideologically in the form of atheistic marxism.
The spirit behind that is pure satanic. Do people think its just coincidence that all forms of moral and social degradation that emerged within the Christian world during the 20th century can all be traced back to atheistic marxist thought?
Coincidence? So lets see; you count 2000 'biblical' years from Adam to Abraham, then 2000 biblical years from Abraham to Jesus, then 2000 years from Jesus until..... hmmmm... .Why on Earth would God encode the numbers indicating a period of 2000 years into his scripture? Let he who has ears, hear.
I think your eh ...graph is provably wrong. First your time frame is wrong. What is considered the bible can only be ascertained after 325 AD, for Paul had a different set of books and manuscripts. Easy peasy: John's letters, revelation, John's Gospel Jude, James, Peter's letters etc, were not part of Paul's canon.
Second: looking at the old testament, it has become more extreme. Read the prophets and compare to Nehemia and Ezra: the power of the Priests.
But reading the Mosaic law and the stories surrounding the establishment of Israel in the middle East, they were quite radical and extreme, to the point were they became a bad smell to the people around them.
This is a good depiction.
A person who's morals are debased cannot recognize or understand truth. Even if they are given absolute proof of a truth, they will reject it.
the curve needs to be zoomed out. Then you will see it as a sine wave going up.
To be fair. Society is a lot more sane compared to biblical times. It is much easier for good people to do good for the world now vs then. There is no argument about that. Many things are wrong in the Old Testament and Jesus is the answer to those problems. This is why he is dearly hated by the most evil spirits on this earth.
Says you. And it seems you're not at all being "fair". Of course, society today must be 'normal' with the worldwide push to normalize pedophilia. Yea, that Sodom and Gemorrah thing wasn't exactly 'worldwide' either, but who knows? There's a reason why people speak of these modern days as being biblical. And it isn't because society is "lot more sane to biblical times". It's not.
