Guess this idiot never lived in Louisiana in the middle of summer without A/C. I have, and guess what, I lived to tell the tale. Yea, waiting two weeks in July for our mobile home to arrive, we had to live in a popup camper. Wasn't pleasant, but it was very survivable. And I was ten years old. Oh, the horror, a child had to endure 100* temps and 80% humidity and somehow found a way to live, go outside and play, and not even have a television or playstation. Hope this useless eater never comes near my door to ask for a handout. He won't like working for his meal.
And itβs called humidity. I am a mechanic and I work outside in this heat. Iβm not dead. Guess that shade tree and these poweraids are doing the trick!
Well, you feel the heat! I was born in Ohio. Lived there until 12 years old. I still have never adjusted to the heat. It is miserable. You will not sleep down here until you get used to the skeeters and the constant sweating in your sleep. The swamp is no place to find comfort. I promise! You either love the lifestyle and the people or you will not make it here! Period! Resilience is the key trademark of a true southerner. Especially Cajuns and creoles!
Well, someone tell this thing never to come down to Brazil then, according to it's reckoning about 80% of the time in year here would present the same deadly conditions in most of the country.
It is not uncommon, during the high of summer, for the temperature to reach some 30/32ΒΊC AT NIGHT where I live, I effen hate it, much prefer the cold, but I'm not dead, and it has been like this forever... Oh and I've never had AC, ever.
Sometimes I find myself hoping for some sort of a crash, just so these pussies would be forced to experience a little reality for once in their miserable lives.
I'm in Alabama, it's 90 feels like 96 atm. heat index was well over 105 last week and humid as fuck, still here and alive. It's kinda like it's summer.
I've worked behind an asphalt paver, raking 350 deg asphalt in those temps many, many times and lived to tell the tale. This is just more fodder for the glowbull warming scam. All the normies that live and work indoors will eat this up. Fucking idiots!
Lol. It's been over 112 all week and practically zero humidity. At this point a light rain would turn to steam when it hits the ground. I have seen this when the ground is hot enough and rain light enough. But we're still hoping for good monsoons to come and change it to 105 and 30%.
Yeah, I saw a resurgence of the "half the people in Phoenix will require medical attention IF there is a complete power outage AND the heat continues." And IF there is suddenly no water and IF everyone stands out in the sun and IF nobody thinks "I could drive for 2 hours and be out of the heat," and IF IF IF. Must be tough trying to wring some excitement out of the weather that is 95% the same, year after year.
I don't have AC and for the past weeks where I live it has been between 34 and 37 degrees C. Up to 100 F.
Oh I forgot to add: I worked outside during the saytime all throughout. It does not kill you. Just wear a hat. Drink enough water and wear thin, floppy clothes that cover your whole body.

Yip π
ME...I would tie a hammock between 2 trees and have a COLD case of something and JUST swing away...pretty soon, one doesn't feel the heat....

No amount of shade or hydration will save you. Gimme a fucking break. Let me know when you're putting on a roof in 115 degrees.
I live in the black area. It gets hot like this every summer. This is bs
What the hell is a wet-bulb temp?
And has this person not been alive long enough to know what JULY IN THE SOUTH is like?
Seriously, what the fuck is "wetbulb temperatures" WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN
now cue the power outages so they can get numskulls shrieking that they are going to die without AC.....
Hopefully big Pharma will have a new injection that prevents death when you are hot and sweaty. They could call it "Ball-Sweatizus".
If this were true, wouldn't we have a couple of continents and massive land areas with no human history until 1900?
History is hard.

That's the sad reality...and you describe them well...π
I think it's the "deadly dim-bulb analysis" that we really need to be concerned about.
It's 97F, humidity well over 80%. Just another summer day in sunny Florida.
But, it IS fixin to rain! Yay!! (which just makes it worse)

Got a date on that tweet? I searched for a while and couldn't find it, so it's not recent.
