Time to Prepare for The Mask Mandates - Just in Case

Talked to several coworkers today about what if the company mandates masks. A couple guys said they weren't going to do it - too much of a health risk, not to mention the BS factor. I said if we all stick together, they will have a tough time replacing us all.
I know, anyone can be replaced, but some skills are harder to come by, and if they let us all go, it would be very disruptive.
Not to mention .. for some reason their is a shortage of people who want or can work ?
There are competitors looking for people with the same skills. Anyone with their ear to the ground knows this.
I kinda wish I didn't quit my job already. It would have been nice to tell them to shove their mask mandate up their fucking ass just so I could quit again.

I've been working nonstop for over 30 years. I've squired enough away I can take a few years off. Either the dollar is going to completely collapse and I'll have been working for nothing. Or our financial system is going to be fixed and everyone will see a huge financial boon. Either way, I didn't see the point. I'll go back to work eventually. Either another wage slave job or something to contribute back to society.

I've been prepping for 10 years. I have enough for my family and others in need. I'm ready. My wife is still working. So we can't travel full time. We have enough to currently pay the bills without dipping into savings. We aren't wealthy by any means. Although I really want to buy a van and convert it to an RV.

Employers are having a hard enough time finding people who will just show up and get the work done. If you're decent employees, they would be fools to lose you and they'd be fools if they didn't realize that you wouldn't be easy to replace. .
If company relies heavily on government contracts for their revenue, they will choose "compliance" over their employees - bank on it.

I am going to be 100% NOPE in stores and in the general public, but here is my dilemma.... Over a month ago I booked a flight for early October to go thousands of miles to visit my mom and dad for a week. They are old and every time I see them, I know it could be the last. TSA is not going to accept my NOPE..... wut do???? I don't want to become the next "that mf is not real" viral clip as they taze me and drag me kicking and screaming out of the airport....
Do what you gotta do, wear the least compliant mask you can get away with. Protest where you can and never get the clot shot but your individual protest against the FAA is less impactful than the positive of seeing your folks…
I'd just wear the mask on the plane. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do for the sake of your parents. This is one of those times.

Unless you have heard something already happening, hopefully they don’t come back. The court decision from before still exists, and the fact that it the flu, I mean, Covid(!), springs back up doesn’t mean an FAA mask mandate is any less unconstitutional.
I hope you're right but, when has something being blatantly illegal ever stopped these clowns from trying to enforce their "mandates"? Court challenges take time. My suggestion to u/annamaga - drive there.
it's 2500 miles, so i really can't (at least not without using up almost all of my vacation time just driving vs seeing them)
Your options (assuming a return of masks):
Comply and financially support the airlines and show your subservience to your oppressors.
Don't go
Take some extra time off from work and drive.
We'll all have choices to make. I was not intending to be critical, just offering an alternative.
You could buy a metal mesh airsoft mask and wear that on the plane. Anyone that see's it knows your not complying while meeting the I'm wearing a mask requirement to board the plane. Probably get the virtue maskers to seethe too.

Take the bus and and don't wear a mask. If you get bus tokens, u can pay a full fare with one coin drop. Up to you how much disturbance you cause, but the more people that wind up late to work as a result of mask policies the better. Who's the climate activist now buddy?
