Ok thanks , I never saw stalks like that while corn was still attached , but I’ve been in Cali for 40 yrs and haven’t seen any stalks for a long time . Unfortunately!!
Harvest time for us was when the silk beyond the husk turned-brown that was an indication that the corn was ready to eat , but, this was long ago and it was for personal use family friends etc . So I have limited farming knowledge ,, enough to survive lol however in SD the rats eat our veggies we need a greenhouse ;(
Oh ok ,, now I get it ,,, so funny , in my youth on the way to shores ,, south jersey wild wood etc , we stopped at a corn field and stole ( I know ) dozens of ears to eat later that night ,, it was the toughest corn ever ,, realized later it was feed corn, back then you got shot at ,, rock salt ,, probably the adventure more then the corn
Most corn in the US is dent corn, also known as seed corn. This corn is harvested when it is dry and can then be stored in silos without rotting. The corn you eat for dinner is < 1% of the corn grown
On my mother's side of the family there are 10 Agro-Americans missing various appendages. Spent my summers on several different farms and determined that I wanted to be an engineer when I grew up.
As kids we would eat it raw from the field behind my house but never after it got to be longer than 3 inches or so. Its sweet but really, really starchy. It worked really good in our cornfield bombardment wars when it began looking like the pic. Usually this corn stood until October before harvesting to allow it to dry. Me and my buddies would pluck some for our deer blinds or when it was still green for bait when we went carp fishing. The people kind of corn is usually gone by the end of August with farmers that have vege stands having a late planting to keep the stands open longer. But even this is being picked now and wont last much longer.
Corn is dried like this on the stalk before sent to the grain dryers to remove any moisture. There are many varieties of corn and each is grown for a different purpose. POP CORN is dried on the stalk as well as BIO DIESEL/FUEL corn. There is corn for livestock feed and corn for corn meal to bake that good old corn bread. There is yellow dried corn for yellow corn meal and white corn for white corn meal. Then there is the corn you eat off the cob which is NOT dried before harvest. This is the corn that goes to canneries for Del Monte and other food producers. As well as corn that goes to freezing manufacturers and other places that use corn in their products. There is corn syrup/aka high fructose and corn oil. There is corn for tortillas and such. Just a little info about corn.
We do this every year. This is beneath the honor and respect patriots have earned staying the course, enduring the ridicule, working late nights trying to decode and understand, and spreading the message. It's just getting insulting. I for one would appreciate less manipulation and more delivering.
Trump WILL be assassinated or jailed. They will not allow him to run, and their last card is martial law and no elections. What then? Will Sydney Powell file a suit, or will Mike Lindell hold a summit? Maybe (shudder) both at the same time?
Could be he runs part of the pedo rings.....children of the corn as such are ready to harvest. Ie tortured for the season and are now on thsir last legs for body parts, adrenochrome? Have to consider it since hes been in congress for eons and must be thoroughly compd. Trust grassley to be what they knew him to be. These people do as told
I'm not sure about Grassley. Senator Chuck Grassley may not be a White Hat at all. Over time, I've heard both sides of the argument, but I believed 'Q' saying, "Trust Grassley", and I went along with this belief. Did Senator Grassley acting as president pro tempore of the Senate on January 6th, 2020 receive a memorandum?
Under Section 4, of the 25th Amendment the Vice President is to hold a cabinet vote for removal of the President. It is required that it is consummated in a memorandum sent to the Speaker of the House and the president pro tempore of the Senate, who was Senator Chuck Grassley at the time. So far there is no known evidence of this occurring. Did Senator Chuck Grassley receive the memorandum? No one has put Mr. Grassley under oath to have him answer this question. There was a coup d'état on January 6. Mike Pence committed treason, not once by refusing legal slates, not twice by excluding over 90% of the House and Senate from participating in the joint session, but perhaps usurping the authority of the President of the United States in a secret and unlawful vote for his removal.
I believe that he says basically the same thing about this time every year.
I do recall seeing notables about this for the past several years.
It's almost like he has a cornfield that needs harvesting every year or something

yw ears dry out a lot this way, then time spent in grain dryer is lessened.

Feed corn not for human consumption.

Harvest it already! Every year we are wondering if it's time for Corney to get MOABd, alas, he really does seem to be just concerned with his maize.
