Sent I had open heart surgery earlier this year. They have this down to a science I was probably less likely to die on that table than I would have be walking in Philly.
Still would rather see him standing and talking smack with me next week than see him in a coffin

The best work I have ever done as an RN was the cardiac step down unit. It was so rewarding for myself and the patient and their families to see all the tubes coming out day by day, and their loved one becoming stronger.
Recovery can take a long time, but the reason I was drawn to Cardic vs, say renal or pulmonary care, is that we can fix the heart!
The pt just has to do the extra work of rehab. Don’t let him slack :-)

Prayers going out for Scott. FWIW a member of my church choir had heart surgery (quadruple bypass) on Friday am. and walked into our church with his wife the following evening for Mass. We were all shocked to say the least. He said he never felt better. May Scott have a similar experience.

We ask for Scott to be relieved of pain and suffering, healed from this earthly body, given the opportunity to overcome this struggle and that his family and friends be comforted by your Angels of Mercy.

The days of having a loved and respected boss are just about over. DEI will have corporations install incompetent leaders with minimal skills but the “right” complexion or genitalia.
We need more men in this world like Scott that will reach out and help guide our wayward sons. May God be with him and his surgeons and the surgeon's staff. May He pull him through this surgery and give him a speedy recovery.
