Wow. Go get 'em, Mike. But for the record I've felt a "My Pillow" and it felt like a bunch of chopped up foam padding in a pillow case. Yea, to me it was lumpy, thus I would not purchase one. But before you make any remarks on my comments please go do your own research. I'll stick by my assertation, though. Now, maybe he has different types of pillows and I checked out only one type, IDK, but the one I did look at while in Bed, Bath, and Beyond was not smooth.
They do feel lumpy. I felt the exact same way. But, after sleeping on them the lump disappears. You have a right to feel the way you do. If you don't like them, you just don't.
I got mine reluctantly. Thought it was a scam. Was worried when it came. Followed the directions (directions for a pillow??) but that first night using it, I slept like a dream. I used to toss and turn but for some reason, that particular pillow keeps me content all night. I bought mine online and made sure to get the right filling amount.
The foam compresses out of lumpiness well enough as you lay on it. I've never had an issue. But if I just touched it with my hand, sure I could say it feels lumpy.
They're not super smooth but that isn't really the appeal for me. They're supposed to be adjustable, and the cubes in there make it way more comfortable to fold over and get positioned right. Helped me stop getting the occasional kink in my neck
The weight of my head smooths out any lumps wherever I lay on it. That's part of the good thing about memory foam. Never feel any corners poking me or anything like that.
I didn’t like mine at first, but after a couple nights of using it, I fell in love. Now I can’t imagine ever purchasing a different pillow. But my advice would be to give it a couple nights to get used to it.
If you do give it a try, be sure to follow any instructions.
Also, online order, as there are different fill levels.
If you do have a problem, I've heard they have good customer service.
I had also bought their towels. They dry really well for me and I like them, but they get strings just like any other towel. Still on the hunt for great towels that are soft, actually absorbent and non-"stringy". 😄
You're right. I tried one, but since I flip from side to side and also sleep on my back, the foam chunks required too much repeated adjustment for me. So I got a different pillow. No big deal.
I can't think of any way to make a pillow out of foam chunks and have the surface be of a perfectly smooth contour. Chunks have edges. The chunks are a FEATURE of the pillow that users love. Go Mike go!
I flip from side to side as well and I didn’t like mine at first. After a couple nights of using it, it is my favorite pillow I’ve ever owned. I would recommend anyone that tries one that they have to give it a couple of nights to get used to it.
So he's upset that the guy called them "lumps" instead of "chunks", which are intentional features of the pillow?
That's a bit nonsensical.
No matter how much I might like Mike, I don't think that he's doing a wonderful thing by losing his cool and yelling at this lawyer. No, the lawyer shouldn't have been petty, either. But Mike is showing them exactly how much they're getting to him. Just my opinion, which I'm sure will piss off plenty of people.
If you've read his autobiography, you would know why he is so pissed. I can't remember how many people tried to steal My Pillow out from under Mike, bastards. They didn't win in the end though. Mike is the billionaire. Love ya Mike.😁
Um, you might want to go double check on that whole billionaire thing. It doesn't make him any better or any less of a man, the amount of money he has. But he's going through some rough times with his personal finances, if we're to believe some of the videos he's put out lately. And this is him saying it.

Yeah, they feel lumpy to your hand, but then you use it for it's intended use as a pillow and it's all good, not lumpy feeling.
Hubby has standard pillow and I have the body pillow.
Hmmm...thanks for the pillow review. I might have to rethink the lumpy pillow comment until I actually use it.

Life pro tip if you don't know: Many towels that feel soft have a bunch of fabric softeners added in that reduces their absorbancy.
Good towels can also be ruined by those same fabric softeners, which can lead to strings, pilling or a rougher feel.

They have different fill levels. You might need one with more fill.

BB&B probably sabotaged it. That patented fill is the best ever.
