So technically, if anyone gets shot and killed in those areas she could be tried and executed? I bet she didn't see that coming.
Very good post. Also this:
16 Am Jur 2D Section 98. An emergency can not create power and no emergency justifies the violation of ANY OF THE PROVISIONS of the United States Constitution or States Constitutions.
Also, 16 Am Jur 2d, Sec 177 late 2d, Sec 256
If you want to live in a Nanny State, keep electing these female governors.
Dem female governors.
Too many women have too much power.
Why do you think she was actually elected? Elections have been stolen for decades.
I didn't say she was elected. I know she was installed.
That was not a reply to you, but to the poster who said they need to stop electing female governors in these nanny states. Who knows how many people in all these blue areas are even really elected?
Ah.
Ya, Lucille. They should all get back in the damn kitchen. Barefoot and pregnant. Even better.
Ummm, Colorados Guv identifies as a woman?? Yup, nanny state it is...
So many things gone weird, I have run out of 'what I really mean's.
Good! A stop has to be made to this madness!
Executive orders only apply to state employees. You cannot executive order citizens
New rule. Any governmental official who goes against the constitution and costs the taxpayer money in defending the rights of the people in court have to pay for ALL legal costs plus a penalty if the government loses the case. Plus, you are fired!
Bet this bs would stop ASAP!
Cool, thanks to the Goverhore for opening up the opportunity to set precedent in court permanently.
Sooooo, where's the Neutered Rifle Association?
Hey Sheriff, ARREST this cunt!
Seriously, AWESOME. Any pushback against this cunt and her treasonous, anti-constitutional decrees is great. This will not stand, and neither will she.

We immediately knew that NM governor Lujan Grisham stepped well-beyond her 'lane' of authority and that her EO would be challenged. My only question was how quickly this would happen. Well, it looks like it has been answered. By her act in seizing power through a sham EO by equating firearms to a medical emergency, she exposed the entire anti-gun movement. In other words, the past narrative of linking firearms to mental health, it uncovers the real purpose of Red Flag laws. Governor Grisham just attempted to impose Red Flag laws on all people living in Albuquerque, NM.
Are the doors to the clerks office even open after hours? How does this work, really, I'd like to know the mechanics of filing an emergency brief. Who in their right mind would be in the clerks office, on a Friday night, to receive an emergency brief? Everybody would be gone for the weekend.
You can file 24/7 electronically without the clerks office being open.
Oh. Modern technology. (Facepalm)
Don't worry about it. That was a good question.
Good luck with the judicial system. You can have clear laws and properly filed cases, but if the courts are crap, you lost your case before you file anything. Eventually everything gets so messed up on every front (not just the courts) that the only way left is the military and military courts operating under The Law of War. We’re not there yet, but that's where it’s headed.
Every ignored or mishandled illegal event contributes a “vote” that tilts the scale toward top-down military intervention. Every illegal event properly addressed by the rule of law tilts the scale against military intervention.
We’ll see which side NM contributes to. ⚖️
