The KJV is certaInly a valid English translation, but to claim that it's the ONLY valid English translation is just plain wrong. The archaic 1600's English dialect is an anachronism. That is, it has absolutely nothing to do with the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek original languages in the Biblical manuscripts. Furthermore, that archaic language tends to obscure the meaning of the text. Take several, more current translations, and set them side by side when you study. You will see the same core message that Christ came to save sinners, and that He died and rose again on the third day.
God has been quite clear about adding and subtracting things from His Holy Word:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:19 KJV)
Satan's work is a gradual erosion of truth not some One Time elimination of the plan of salvation. These translations clearly chip away at the core message (Jesus is the "only begotten", our sins are washed away "through His blood" and that sodomy is a sin).
I am only here to shed light on these matters of deception so Christians can decide for themselves on what Bible is right for them.
I am NOT here to debate with someone that thinks there is nothing wrong with these translations. You are entitled to your opinion but my analysis of these translations has led me to the conclusion that they are a willful act on the part of satan and his minions to deceive Christians by:
Making God less powerful and creating confusion about the Trinity and the Godhead
Eliminating the work done by the blood of Jesus
Attempting to redefine sin by eliminating the word sodomite
Reducing occurrences of key words (Holy Ghost, hell, Jesus Christ, begotten)
You're right - I will always defend the KJV. Many people don't realize that the new age bible translations are so perverted. There are also some that know they are perverted and still don't care.

The pleasure is all mine when I hear back from people like you that have "discovered" the KJV difference - it is the only Bible that has not been perverted by the new age translators. Most people think it's much to do about nothing (a bible is a bible). But when they see the facts about what has been deleted in the name of "readability", most reasonable Christians are shocked at the evilness of it all.
It gets easier as you go along (as you are discovering). Ask the Lord for His help in reading and understanding - He is only too willing to help you. Pretty soon you'll be able to take the training wheels off (LOL). You have made a very wise decision, you have stuck to it and I know that the Lord will bless you for it. My mother in law hasn't had cancer for 30 years, then as soon as she got the booster it reemerged, currently in remission. My aunty was also in remission then relapsed with her Myeloma and is in bad shape, not sure if she got the booster but wouldn't be surprised

It was very hard to read at first. I would have to look words up and write their meaning down to refer to as I read.
The first week when I was confused I would bring up the NIV version when I couldn't comprehend the passage
After the first week I only relied on the dictionary and each day became easier to understand.
