People seem to think that a plant pulls the material for its mass from the soil. In fact very little of a plants mass will come from the soil itself. It will pull out a small amount of key nutrients from the soil, but it fundamentally gets the carbon, hydrogen and oxygen to build itself from CO2 in the air and H2O absorbed by the soil.

The air we breathe on average is 78% nitrogen 21% oxygen - that leaves 1 percent - and 0.4% is CO2, everytime a Volcanic Eruption occurs - human carbon reduction is largely rendered moot. The CO2 argument is about money....and nothing else.

It's not about really reducing the secondary causes of co2 such as cars for example. It's about reducing the primary cause of co2, and that primary cause is people. co2 reduction is population reduction plain and simple. co2 will never be regulated or controlled without a severe reduction of humans on the planet no matter what global warming propaganda is put out there.
speaking of wanting us to starve to death, the food banks in S,E, Ohio closed because the driver is out sick, or truck broke down 3 food banks closed, got both excuses, Some poor lady drives 2 hours to get here and waits all night and is told no food bank today, Some people need what little food they get every 2 weeks, and a bigger one on Friday once a month. There is speculation it is going to the illegals don't know. One was open Thursday but had the health department there and there was less food than normal. Don't know? Just wondering if anyone is hearing anything like this going on elsewhere,

They talk about CO2 like it’s a pollutant, but it’s the thing that plants need to breath! They talk about climate change, melting ice caps and rising sea levels. Earth’s climate isn’t static and constantly changes over long periods of time, and we’ve already had melting ice caps and global flooding! What happened to the ice age? Noah’s flood? That actually happened!
Jerusalem artichokes grow in practically all soils and climates. It provides the 2nd highest yield density of food for any crop on earth. And is incredibly easy to grow....
Also very sweet due to its inulin content (no sugar). I love them and they grow freely in my yard. Unfortunately, most people cannot digest them because they don't have the intestinal biome.
A solution for that problem is cooking them thoroughly. Can this type of biome be created in the intestines?
A healthy gut biome can easily digest them, or they can be introduced slowly, other wise it's methane madness

I've never had Juresalem artichokes. After reading about them being a survival food that everyone should have, I'm considering planting some next spring. Is the gas issue any worse than pinto beans?.... I have no problems in that area.
I like them sliced and fried in butter. But mine didn't bloom this year. Maybe aI didn't thin them out enough and they might be heavy feeders.
For years, I have this interesting idea for a fictional fantasy character: a nature goddess who realizes that more cars and other CO2 producing engines means more food for her plant babies. To that end, she ordered all of her nymphs and dryads go burning every scrap of coal and every drop of oil they could get their hands on.
Said goddess herself goes around in a big green Hummer with a megaphone, screaming for the stupid humans to burn more coal and oil for her plant babies!
Cool idea and it makes a lot of sense.
