Just say cool story and go back to cleaning your guns
Wrong
California accounted for 30 percent of US gun deaths in 2019. The statistics on this page are outright fabrications.
Laws are like locks. Only there to keep an honest person honest.
When you take guns away from good people, then the only people who will have guns are the criminals.
People are so DAMN STUPID. The only people who follow and respect laws are LAW ABIDDING CITIZENS
I talked to a Sherrif a while back about that. And the numbers in any database arent very trustworthy ither than the fbi.
Lots of departments count crimes as in "convictions" So if they get a lot of plea deals like they do in big cities. An armed robbery with a gun gets reduced to a criminal trespassing and the gun charges dropped from record.
The numbers are tweaked and redefined to fit agendas just like "the science" is. All they need to do is pick a state and start making calls and asking questions. Namely contact the website and ask where they got their data and what calculations were made to it for the article.
Chicago has some of the toughest, most restrictive gun laws in the country, and they lead the nation in gun homicides.
Or does she not want to hear that?
No, that's obviously fake patriarchal racism dog whistles data.
Well not exactly... what they meant to say was "strong gun laws reduce the risks of committing a crime!" In that they are less likely to be shot!
It only takes one City to prove gun control is a lie. Chicago+gun control=762 Murders....EVERY Year. The made up stat of deaths per 100k was made up to Cover up Chicago.
That graph should be more precise and breakdown the major cities in most of those states.
They all have one thing in common other than being dimocrap ran.
It's as clear as black & white....
She cites this article to support her assertion.
Tell her banning crime would eliminate gun deaths entirely.
Tell her to go live in Chicago!
I bring up the Hamas Israeli massacre… Wouldn’t you like to have the ability to fight and protect your family from being raped, mutilated, kidnapped or killed? Or are you just gonna call and wait for the cops?
Not arresting criminals also lowers crime rates too!
Low iQ sister might have a lower iQ than you think
Is non-gun related violence higher in these areas due to the relative absence of firearms?
The term "gun violence" is intentionally vague. What percentage of the deaths are suicide? What percentage are self defense?
Yes it is. Violent crime in the UK, and continental Europe is higher than in the USA. I had a bunch of stats when Colorado went through it’s unconstitutional 2012 gun law crisis.
There is no reasoning with them. They are part if the % that Q said would never be reachable. Forever lost.
Gun Safety Laws?
Have her check out any of John Lott's recent books, from the library.
More guns, less crime : understanding crime and gun-control laws
Perhaps you can counter argue that we just need more anti-violence laws? This way, we cover all violence and not just gun-violence. How about we make laws against crime in general? Maybe that might do the trick. While she is at it, we need more narcotics laws, since illegalizing all that seems to work out so well for us and brought about super cool drug cartels with massive resources. The cool thing is that if we illegalize all weapons, we can finally get some organized weapons cartels and then we can all buy machine guns, explosives and wmd's on street corners via neighborhood dealers. I mean, it is actually quite a bit of effort to get fully automatic weapons and high grade explosives, but with Cartels in charge of distribution, it would be way easier.
Putting a locked chastity belt on liberal women will reduce rape.
Ask her if they kill multiple people with knives should we take them away?
Then ask if multiple people die from someone running them over with cars should we take them away?
Then explain masd shootings have mental illness in common.
If the laws on the books were enforced, she would have a point. ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS BEFORE MAKING NEW LAWS
How, would be my first question.
How can a law prevent someone with a gun from using it?
