Question: Iceland has 85 ‘so-called earthquakes’ within the hour. ALL of them are 10km of less in depth. Are DUMB’s being taken out?

In this particular case, the quakes are tectonic; between tectonic plates, and also they are caused by magma just beneath the surface, some being as shallow as 1/2 mile and now occurring beneath the town of Grindavik. The entire scenario seems quite dangerous for the Blue Lagoon and the aforementioned village.

Yup, I came here to say just that. In fact, volcanic and tectonic activities are picking up all across the globe. The Pacific "ring of fire" has been particularly active lately, and on the west side of my home state (Tennessee) the New Madrid Fault is showing activity.
Back in 1811-12 the New Madrid Fault had a major series of earthquakes that, if it happened today with greater population density and high-rise buildings, would be catastrophic, from New Orleans to Chicago and all cities along the banks of the Mississippi River. I would NOT want to be on any bridge crossing the Mississippi when that day comes.
It appears that the New Madrid Fault (gleaned from geological data collected in the past 60 years or so) has a periodicity of roughly 200 years, give or take. So it's now 215 or so years since the last event, and people living near that fault should take precautions.
The federal government and military have conducted many response drills for this inevitable and horrific event. God help us.
If the New Madrid Fault does let loose again, I'm sure I will be able to feel it all the way here in the mountains of east Tennessee. The shock from the epicenter always diminishes the farther you get from it, so at about 400 miles away, I hope it doesn't wreck too much of the local infrastructure and houses.
One of the most active volcanic regions of the world would be an incredibly dumb place to put anything deep underground.
A little shakeup is needed.
85 DUMBS in tiny little Iceland? That's "dumb" on the face of it. Iceland is active earth central. The people heat their water and homes with geothermal. There are active volcanoes and more all over the place. Qmum needs some education.
The deepest mine I know of in the US is less than 10,000 ft. About 3 km or less. The conditions at that depth are horrendous, water comes out of the rock hotter than bath water, steaming. Doesn’t sound like a great hiding place for the elites.
Iceland has always been shaking. Most volcanic active place on earth!
Average oil will 4000 feet or .7 miles. 10 Kilometers 6.2 miles The Kola Superdeep Borehole (Russian: Кольская сверхглубокая скважина, romanized: Kol'skaya sverkhglubokaya skvazhina) SG-3[a] is the result of a scientific drilling project of the Soviet Union in the Pechengsky District, near the Russian border with Norway, on the Kola Peninsula. The project attempted to drill as deep as possible into the Earth's crust.
Drilling began on 24 May 1970 using the Uralmash-4E, and later the Uralmash-15000 series drilling rig, and it became the deepest manmade hole in history in 1979. The 23-centimetre-diameter (9 in) boreholes were drilled by branching from a central hole.[1] The deepest reached 12,262 metres (40,230 ft; 7.619 mi) in 1989, the deepest human-made hole on Earth, and remains so as of 2023.
The Icelanders are worried its all along a rift that is expected to erupt as a Volcano. if it goes into the sea and erupts its will take out at least one town.
The magma plume underneath Iceland is bigger than Iceland, the entire nation is very temporary, it will be transformed, not through man made explosions, but by the big boss of all. The quakes are from the magma moving the crust, like sticking a hose in the ground, it is happening all the time. Fascinating to observe. All that free thermal energy is coming for the heating bill. It could happen at any time, but it will not be like St Helens in the US, more like a constant break through, still very destructive, making the land there unusable. There are 3D maps of the magma plume that can give you an idea of what is happening. I was watching on and off all weekend. It is being described by some as ending up a tourist event, uninhabitable but an enormous area of volcanic activity for people to come and see.
JTLYK: Seeing posts reflecting on the New Madrid fault, I live near it, at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers, a few short miles from the epicenter.
I put my hand in the hand of the Man who stilled the waters...
The Man. That would be Jesus Christ. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He is our only Hope.
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us......
Just to put it in context: deepest coal mine is 1.5 km deep.
Any point of building something below that level?
Why not 0.3km? (300 metres)
If someone tried to run 100 metres really quick - you know how far is it.
The deepest underground tube station in NY is 53 metres (0.053 km) and in London, UK - 58 metres (0.058 km).
I don’t think these are DUMBs. It can be HAARP or natural or fake news or “you’re watching the movie”, fake reality by whomever.
Let’s see what happens.
we've got a lot more DUMBs to take out over here. I know where they're hiding too. The secret is the democrat party, full of DUMBs.
The mid Atlantic ridge goes across Iceland and these fissure eruptions are fairly common. Some have been miles long sending magma hundreds of feet high along their length. Its really impressive, go search some video. Right now there is a magma intrusion happening along a fault that is 20km or so long and that is what is causing the tremors.
