This has HUGE implications for the US dollar. Milei is talking about replacing the Argentinian peso with the dollar. This would create demand for the dollar that would offset the surplus that the BRICS nations would create when they dump the petrodollar.
Argentina could be the vacuum that absorbs the surplus dollars on the FOREX market.
If this happens, the CBDC would be a DOA proposition. And Milei will be expelling the central bank from Argentina. Not to mention the end of whatever legacy Nazi groups operating out of Argentina.
