I'll never give up a juicy steak!
Oh no. I am actually 90 percent vegetarian but I understand that you want to support your local farmers, ranchers and butchers. LOL
I ate a 22oz Porterhouse yesterday and today I will be having pot roast with new potatos.
Nice. Sounds great.
I just bought half a cow and filled my freezer. The meat is the best I ever had. It cost $1450 and was well worth it.
Cost a lot to eat well, but if you calculate the cost of being sick, it's worth it.
I'm doing my part:
LOL. Nice. Can I come by on Monday?
Those were past meals - not sure what's on for next Monday but you're more than welcome to join us.
Thanks. spareribs sure sounds nice right now.
Wish I could do my part. I went to Longhorn Steakhouse and had to settle for a 22 oz. ribeye and it was $32. Ouch. With prices like that I'll have to delve into chicken or pork to satisfy my meat desires, but it sure is tasty.
Once at Longhorn I ordered a Porterhouse black and blue. The waiter had no idea what that meant. He asked if I wanted bleu cheese dressing on it.

I'll very rarely pay for a steak at a restaurant anymore. They're way over priced and so not worth it, more often than not. There is one local place where I'll order a steak, because they know how to properly age their beef. Their sirloins are better than most places' fillets.
General rule of thumb is that if I want a good steak, I'll fire up the Weber kettle grill and cook it myself. No gas, just plain Kingsford charcoal, or Royal Oak natural lump.
Although I would love to have this delectable steak, last night I had Chicken Alfredo. The night before I had pork tenderloin and the night before that I had spaghetti. Tonight I am making a Chef's Salad with chunks of Ham and egg slices. I simply got to have my meat. No meat makes for a dull meal sometimes. The only time I eat vegetarian is when the garden produce is coming in fresh from the garden; then I will have a meatless meal.
It certainly looks nice and juicy. Made a vegetarian pizza. I do support the ranchers because I am buying all those meat for the dogs. Most of the time, they got the meat.
That's perfectly alright. At least your dogs don't go hungry. My dog Izzy will sit and beg for a tidbit of something off your plate right after she's eaten her own.
Mine begged for fruit. Yes. They like fruit.
I had a dog once who ate salad and onion.
My dog eat bees. I tell him to stop but he don't listen. They sting his mouth but he don't care. (American Staffordshire Terrier)
That's one tough Terrier. My dog is a Jack Russell Beagle mix. The one that ate the salad and onion was part poodle and ???
Now that's something else. What a pup. Love the Staffy
Mine won't eat salad, but will eat fruit.
Mine loves vegetables esp carrots, almost as much as meat. Wolfed down corned beef and cabbage yesterday.
I had a dog that died from mast cell tumors. Vet said could be caused by processed kibble. So with this dog I make his foods. Even making treats from livers and chix gizzards.
I am so glad some of the vets told you the truth. Bless be your pup. I just give raw meat after freezing them for a week.
That's good. Dogs need vitamin C too.
Mom's dog, Gizmo, won't eat his dinner if we are eating ours also lol. He sits and begs then eats his once ours is gone 🙈
Ha, ha, ha. Smart dog.
Juicy and tasty.
I only eat meat, but I also have a steak(warm side of blu, with proper home-made lemon-based peppered Hollaindaise) dinner at my mothers once a week..
Keto?
Strictly speaking it fits but straight up carnivore is a better way to define it, if it doesn't come from something that can move of it's own volition I don't eat it (short of condiments and meds)...
Was veg/borderline vegan from 19 to 27 and carnivory has fixed things in me that vegetarian never did...
That's nice to hear that you have found a way to reverse your problem and it is not vegan.
Make sure anons get the grass fed beefs nothing less.
Amen
Been on Carnivore diet. I lost a few pounds (didn’t have much to start)and can see my muscles again. Even the abs! Watching a lot of videos on this and people are curing all kinds of immune issues like diabetes, stomach and bowel problems, even eyesight and hair, skin problems.
There is even a study just released about lean carnivores (average age 53 and been carnivore for 4years average)who have high cholesterol after going on a carnivore diet having a perfect calcium artery score! This means that their LDL (bad) cholesterol is performing a specific function but NOT building plaque. Average ldl was over 200!
One guy did an experiment (he called it Oreos vs statins)where he ate 10 Oreo cookies everyday for a week and lowered his cholesterol back to normal range. This means that high cholesterol isn’t always a BAD thing and the prescription of STATINS isn’t always warranted.
The overwhelming opinions from these Drs is that high fat MEAT is the best diet but just staying away from any processed crap and fast food is much better than the standard American diet.
This is why they want to ban meat.
They want you sick, weak, fat, on drugs and unable to fight back.
How many fatties were there a couple of hundred years ago? None, except for the very wealthy. Why? Because the common man had to work very hard to feed himself and when he ate he injested only God-made products, which is very healthy. Man-made foods are not healthy and should be avoided, but since they are cheaper in price compared to a steak, guess what, poor people will eat bad foods and get fat. Ever go into a Walmart and see obese folks in the scooters? Look at what food they are purchasing and I bet it isn't veggies, meats, cheeses, or dairy. Probably sodas, chips, box lunches, and frozen pizzas. How did they get so large? Because they didn't put out any effort to get their food, i.e....they didn't hunt it, kill it, process it, or cook it. That takes a lot of calories and they are too lazy to burn any of those precious calories they've packed on.
Exactly!
And one of the Doctors said that our bodies don’t crave calories they crave nutrition. When the Walmart crowd eats crap their bodies tell them to keep eating because they don’t turn off the hunger signal until they get some actual nutrition.
Yep. Ever try a one day fast? If you've been eating crap food and then try to fast by the 18th hour your stomach is growling to be fed and your mind is yelling for you to eat. Plus the amount of sugar in our food is horrendous. It is a known drug that hooks folks to eat more sugar, kinda like cocaine. Once you take a hit you'll want more and more, just ask baby Biden. hehe. Now, if your on a natural diet, then after a few days the hungar pangs seem to taper off quite a bit and you can go for an entire day without yearning for something to eat. Just think about all the poor folks around the world. Are they eating three meals a day? Nope, they are lucky to get a decent meal every other day. Just the way of the world. America is blessed with abundant food, too bad the crap food is the cheapest.
Great job at changing your diet. Eating better one meal at a time. I am learning to like the taste of steak. I love chicken, pork, burgers, any and all seafood. I feel better when I eat good protein and lay off the carbs.
Interesting information. Thanks for the information. I will check all this out.
It's now in the school curriculum that to do so is bad for the environment because bugs can be raised vertically and take up less land.
I heard Elon will be teaching school in TX soon. We don't need their narratives.
If this catches on, I can see a liberal "Bugs are meat too" campaign in the works.

Looks really good.
I am sure beef is great. I just don't have the enzymes in the stomach to digest. I never grew up with that so it's hard to eat them just like milk products. Sits in the stomach like a piece of rock.
I eat a little bit of fish and poultry per doctors order.
I have a "Grilln' Like a Villain" T-shirt I wear quiet often - one guess where!
I love shish kabob.
I have a nice T I picked up at a smoked meat restaurant we visited in FL a couple months ago - "I like pig butts..."
