I know, I know, I will get hated for this. But sooner the humanity shrugs off the alcohol culture the healthier we can all be. Sugar and alcohol - just get rid of these two things, and half the work is done in becoming healthy.
I think you're both right. The problem lies in lack of moderation. (((They))) would like to keep us slow and dim-witted as much of the time as possible.
Weed growers making big bank, they supply the legal and illegal pipeline. Should be legal nationwide and then people could market live plants of the best strains.
The industry has damn near committed suicide by promoting the sick 1% (maybe) of the population. At the same time, disregarding the 99% that pay their bills.
I dumped the commercial beers and now make my own. I drink less and enjoy it more. Win/ win.
I've been doing dry January for 8 years now. Aside from that first year, I look forward to it. Last year I made it till mid March before having a cold beer. I imagine one year (maybe this year) will be my last year drinking. We'll see!
This will be my first full month without alcohol in probably a decade. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, I’m oddly looking forward to it and having a reason to start turning drinks down.
Last I read it’s projected in general that the younger generations are drinking and smoking less. Not sure if that includes vape or not… but my son is almost 12 and man they roast the shit out of things people have been doing a long time and it’s funny.
It genuinely may be a tidal wave of change which is ironic because so many think the youngsters are lost but they are watching and they hate globohomos pushing dumb shit.
Examples: when kids are bullies he says they all just bully the bully (maybe not the best tactic but better than letting them get away with it), they like guns cause they all play games, they don’t like lgbtq as much probably because the tranny shit is so crazy, and a host of other surprising things. We will see how it shakes out.

Hence the push for legalizing pot.
Yup!, I agree, I self-medicated on weed and can see it's long term effects. Still better than anything science has to offer in copium.
Each has their own crutch, but flower is a great replacement for lots of big pharma meds. Best thing is you can grow it for minimum Tax $$.

I don't get fat, hung over and i sleep like a baby. Also, my joint inflammation goes away and colors all seem brighter. Freedom is good.
IKR? It's like they're not even pretending anymore.
Username checks out.
Problem is for many its a beer or two, or a case. I knew drunkards who drank 6-12 beers on workdays and a case on days off. That's extreme though...
Moderation in ALL things...
Amen, I have no sympathy for the beer business. Alcoholics ruined my childhood.
Alcohol addiction creeps up on you...
I agree, 100%.

Yep, instead of betting the coin would land heads or tails, they bet it would land on its edge. Pretty stupid.
I’m doing dry January this year. Pray for me frens

I "stop" drinking every new years. This year will be my 11th year. Most years I usually make it to at least June. In 2015 I made it to Nov.
Janu-wagon!!! You got this!!!!!
Are people sobering up?

I was successful in quitting drinking, myself.
I don't miss it at all.
Kids want adderall, weed and seltzers
Not surprised. I quit drinking altogether several years back. Strangely, that piss wTer bud light was my go to if I wanted a red beer.
