My job is forcing me to fly and a would like some updated information on pilots that have gone done during flights. I have what is easy enough to find and that is bad enough, and since I’m pretty sure I will eventually get fired over this I would like both barrels loaded and go down swinging. Thank you all

There have been plenty of pilot deaths during flight, but it's pretty hard to crash a big plane. I wouldn't go on a single pilot plane ever again, but with a co pilot and auto pilot planes are still safer than cars. Politifact: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2023/apr/28/instagram-posts/no-evidence-of-pilots-dying-on-flights-from-covid/ which means the opposite is true.
I've flown multiple times over the last 3 years. No problems.
Friends flew overseas. No problems.
Co-Pilots save the day. There's always a backup if one goes down.
Freeways are more challenging because few drivers know how to drive anymore or they are on their phones/not watching the traffic lines.
Trains are crashing.
Good luck.
Thank you
Are trains possible
This. Tell them you're afraid of flying and would prefer taking trains.
I AM afaid of flying currently
I'm not at all afraid of flying but I am quite nervous about stopping really suddenly!
I got work to pay me mileage to drive somewhere one time when they wanted me to fly
Don't quit. Make them shit can you.
I'm sure I am preaching to the choir with you. But it matters.
Room mate fired / refused. Filed complaint wit the Discrimination dept. We are still in the game, but very slow moving.
Ir's been about a year and a half.
Good luck fren!
Absolutely, thank you
What you need is a doctor's note saying that your risk of DVT is high.

Thank you
I would fly.
Co-pilot can land no problem.
Whatever information you find about pilots and their vax status would not support your argument unfortunately. It is not enough sudden deaths with pilots to justify not flying with your job.
Now if you went another angle, if flight was part of you getting hired, then you can't fight it. But if you took the position, and there was nothing about flight in the position, then say you have a fear of flying and can not do it. But you can't go on personal trips anymore. The employer will find out you go on flights for personal pleasure. Good luck
Just make sure both pilots didn't have the fish as their in-flight meal.
I recommend lasagna.
Omg, never eat airline fish. Is comparable to gas station tuna wrap
Even if pilots are dying in flight, airliners are not dropping out of the sky and it’s still safer than driving. I have only found mostly clickbait single source claims that pilots are all dying in flight. Don’t sacrifice living your life because of this kind of thing, and don’t trust any clickbait offhand without really really really digging into the claim, and who is making it and why.
