If they retire at end of term as it appears, then no harm, just have a new election. If it is like McCarthy, then assume they are compromising SOB's. That will reduce the Republican vote. But then, most are RINOS so may make no difference anyway. Just hope more Dems retire.

Why can’t the governor of those states appoint a replacement for those empty seats, they do it for senators.
