I've never really understood who exactly are the "elite". It seems like it's just supposed to be the very wealthy, but as you say, Trump is very wealthy but is obviously not who people are talking about.
When did being wealthy start being a bad thing? And if someone was born into a wealthy family, it's obviously not something they were in control of.
What someone does with their money is obviously important. It can be used in good ways or in bad. But unless you know exactly how someone uses their money, it's just assuming that they're a bad person.
Is it anything beyond class warfare? And if not, who decides who gets a free pass, like President Trump or Elon Musk, or Rush Limbaugh (RIP) or Tucker Carlson?
As I said, it's whether the rich/elite are psychopaths or not. That's all it is.
But a huge proportion of the rich/elite ARE psychopaths because they are so intensely drawn to power.
It's not that power corrupts. We've had it backwards all this time. It's that the corrupt are drawn to power. Having no conscience means they'll happily do anything to get it. And they do.
Once we learn to recognize the narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths among us (and they are everywhere), and stop letting them be in charge of ANYTHING from an HOA to a country, then things will change. But not before.

This is exactly what keeps us imprisoned by them: The idea that these people are only bad because someone was mean to them. In other words, it's OUR fault that they are psychopaths and we should feel guilty and grovel to them to show our remorse (literally) and do everything we can to give them second chance after second chance and try to make them feel better.
We are not a Nation of free men and women, it is not government by the people for the people we are the Twenty First Century SLAVES and from the west coast to the east coast from Canada to Mexico one Large Prison system. Prove me wrong
