If they cannot stop Trump, and they won’t, I can see the D’s pushing a narrative of “magnanimity” in an attempt to “save” our “democracy” (out of their fear of pending retribution), and “beg” (all show) Haley to be their presidential nominee (voters be damned). She will “show” resistance claiming loyalty to R’s but will eventually agree claiming “America first”.
This will provide a whole new level of cover for election fraud as NO ONE will ever believe that Bidung won reelection. The entire narrative will be “history being made” in hopes to drown out the obvious plot.
It obviously won’t work, and I may be way off, but the favorable coverage for the bird is not by accident.

My view, FWIW, is that Trump is meant to curb stop the opposition which, as we see from the left's reaction to Iowa, is going to drive both sides into a frenzy.
The left will triple down on fabricated stories, propaganda and talking points to their media shills and brainwashed bots. The hard left is going to be whipped into a frenzy and, as a result, their craziness will increasingly show. This is already happening on Reddit. I expect it to escalate in insanity to the point where any regular Joe liberal with two brain cells will be shocked at the behavior of their radical allies. This has been slowly happening for the last three years. Pots about to boil.
Those on the right will gain fervor and traction assuming, due to his absolute domination, Trump is indeed going to win the election and take the country back. Reasonable lefties will expect the same and, hopefully, accept that inevitability. It will be very clear Trump will win 2024 and, after 3 1/2 years of constant war, financial hardship, medical issues, etc a clear majority will be rooting for it to be so.
Then TPTB will do everything in the playbook to detail the election and and steal the country. Terror attacks, shootings, attempted assassinations, wars, more pandemics, etc. Joe might even refuse to debate Trump. The media spin will be incredible. The evidence of the eyes will not match the evidence of the media.
Then they steal it again. Shit hits the fan. Military is the only way.

Interesting take and yes, more likely. I almost think the DS knows Trump is saying, "make my day, try and steal it" in an attempt to drive the final blow to the corrupt media and "safeguard future elections".
If there's one thing we've learned is the DS plays the long-game. Their ability to step back and regroup is their strength. But - the same can be said of a certain real estate tycoon who succeeded in the most corrupt business environment and literally played them like a fiddle.
I still think we are in for nonstop bird brain coverage. To what end? Time will tell.
