Looks like ultimately it will be relocating to other countries in Africa/crossing the border out of South Africa (no fleeing to Europe looking at the Ukraine issues with refugee status).
Glad there is a plan that uses international guidelines (I haven't studied enough to verify), though it seems there is a plan in place to keep as many safe as possible.
