Does this mean my Nigerian princess was telling the truth all those years ago? She never did show up...
Ha Ha Ha! I was trying to figure out how there were that many billionaires in Nigeria. They all must have been using the "Nigerian Prince" scam to get rich.
Wakanda. It's because of wakanda. (LoL)
What was she saying? Im unfamiliar.
There was an online scam early on. Some Nigerian princess wanted you to accept millions of dollars from her. When she arrived, she would take part of it back, but leave the rest with you. There was always a family member in hiding, killed, or some other nonsense.
To think some people must have fallen for that BS. So many scammers in Nigeria.
There is a guy in the UK whose favourite hobby is scamming the scammers. He gets them to do all kinds of ridiculous things, keeps them hanging on with excuses and promises before finally saying he's lost interest.
One time he said he would only help the scammer if he joined his church of the Painted Breast, and that the scammer had to send a picture of himself with a painted circle round one boob. Hilarious.
Years ago I had a client who finally "confessed" that his money that he was going to get was coming from a Nigerian Prince that he had befriended. I was stunned. He was a cop! I couldn't believe he didn't know. But the greedy, are the ones who fall for that stuff.
Off topic, but reminded me of an old comedy show here in the UK, Fonejacker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9biM_ZfIdo
Just to be clear, “billionaire” means different things in different times and places.
A few years ago, kids in Zimbabwe were “billionaires”
But as George Washington astutely observed, a wagonload of money won’t buy a wagonload of provisions
I read somewhere that he was building a $500 million University in Nigeria. He was probably trying to use his ill-gotten gains for the better and angered the people trying to destroy the planet?
Good point.
Stories like this are why I come to GAW
That happened last Friday the 9th. The banker, his wife and his son were killed along with 2 crew members and a former Nigerian stock market exec.

"Just like we drew it up" is very strange phrasing
Makes me think of Hunter's art work.
So no more unsolicited offers to deposit funds into my bank account?
This was posted on Citizen Free Press and mostly went unnoticed. It must've been a DS hit job because there were innocents on board, including the teenage son of one of the men.
The CEO of one of the largest banks in the country was on a helicopter with pilots, Family and the CEO / chairman of the Nigeria Stock Exchange when their helicopter mysteriously caught fire and crashed while on their way to the Super Bowl.
So one helicopter and all six on board were Billionaires?
That's what I questioned.
