I have DRS shares in a standard brokerage account (after tax), but I also have a bunch through a 401k Brokerage account that I'm allowed to invest how I like.
Do the 401k brokerage accounts usually let you DRS those shares also?
I believe it is possible through certain brokers. I don’t have a direct answer, however if you research ‘DRS IRA GME’ or similar, you’ll turn up some results. I think there was a walkthrough by some GME (game-stop) folks someplace.
The walkthrough had some paperwork hoops to jump through for sure, but I believe it was legal/ doable.
We already found out that it's pretty much impossible to DRS shares in an IRA without spending thousands to set up an LLC. The Mainstar Trust debacle taught us that.
Search DRS GME - you’ll do fine - much is out there on direct registration of shares to your name (vs a brokerage) in order to lessen the effects of naked short selling.
I'm not familiar with the details of these companies but when your company goes public, banks buy most of the shares so you lose control of the company but you get tons of money out of it.
Wow, is that even legal for the judge to be able to do that after he already made his ruling?? Sounds like they are really trying to wake people up with that stunt.
$4B dollars? What a circle jerk LOL! During the last couple years going public through a SPAC was proven to be a financial failure where the stock drops dramatically and early investors make little to no money. You can bet on hedge funds and other hostiles going full metal jacket on $DJT with all the trading fuckery.
Nice!!!!
Everybody: push to DRS shares.
Here's a dumb question:

Not a dumb question at all.

Judge Engoron: "Four billion, you say??" ::rubs hands together::
Now acquire CNN.
nah, let that shit go bankrupt then buy the infrastructure.
I don't understand how that makes him $4B richer. Can someone show the math?
It's the number of shares of DWAC that Trump owns times the current stock price. Trump owns over 70% of DWAC.
I'm not familiar with the details of these companies but when your company goes public, banks buy most of the shares so you lose control of the company but you get tons of money out of it.
The fine has been retroactively updated to $3.55 billion.

No, it wouldn't be legal, I was being facetious given the absurdly high initial penalty.

ha! a mere 87thou fine, chick feed I say.
Don't let that corrupt Judge Engoron know this, He will increase Trump's retarded illegal fine.
this is old news at this point
old from about a week, but not everybody saw this. Anyone that owns dwac saw this, but others haven't. no downvote from me, just adding a comment
