I'm not a big chip eater anymore, never really was. However, Doritos was my only real go to chip when I was younger. After I got married and had kids, I cut back on pretty much every kind of junk food. Still, of all the products that have come out as woke, this is the only one that I MIGHT have bought, just for old time's sake. Nope. They are DEADitos to me.

I have always bought doritos....hubby has dementia and a poor appetite, so ya do what you can. Used to be if I forgot to put them away, I'd come and find the dogs had ripped up the bag and eaten every crumb. Now, in perfect timing, hubby won't eat them, and neither will the dogs. Sign enough for me something has gotten trashier with the trash chips...no heartbreak here at $6/ bag. But it's alarming when even a blue heeler won't touch them.
Please look into the benefits of Fenben for your husband. Also can you check his Vitamin "C" levels? Does he get enough now? Did he have a history of drinking alcohol (it inhibits the brain's ability to get Vit C).?

He does get vitamins though probably not enough...his multiple strokes left multiple problems, including dietary aversions...I've offered a vitamin and he refuses bc "too many pills already" and he gets very testy. Back when he turned type 2...prolly 6 years or so ago...we were juicing. Green drink. Lots of vitamins in that. But his stomach started fighting back...it's a ton of roughage. So I doubt he'll do that again lol but I just try to sneak it into what food he'll eat
