Imagine going through life taking as fact the word of anyone and everyone who simply says they are the authority on xyz matter. You have to take their word because you aren't allowed to research or confirm they are even actually an authority.
In such a world, I should be able to simply declare myself the highest authority in the land and commence my dictatorship unopposed because nobody should be allowed to research or investigate and therefore they all must only take my unsupported claims as true.
Sorry. I'm not living in that world. I've never been afraid to tell someone I think they're wrong. And I've said that to tenured professors before.
I refuse this. Full stop. I will decide what I believe to be true. And if I'm wrong, then I will eventually discover it on my own. And every time I have been wrong in the past, I've always learned something from it.
Being wrong is critical to the growth of the human spirit. And so is being right. And everything in between. I'm not allowing them to take this away. Not from me. Not from my children. Not from my species. I'm going to celebrate being wrong.
I can't believe anyone was so without shame that the would even agree to write this kind of nonsense.
Amen! And that , the bible, is these demon's biggest enemy. Keep it closed, you won't understand it, it's too long, it's outdated...just watch the history channel or listen to our paid pulpit mouthpiece for your next dose of "religion."
My favorite is how the "news" has made up new logical fallacies to match up with their desire to kill actual critical thinking. I think they forgot about Gen X, most of us have seen all this happen with our own eyes and we laugh at it. Raised on question everything and watching it change to just believe anything approved sources tell you is quite laughable.
Definitely. I was definitely taught not to trust TV, radio or Internet from a young age. "Just because it was on TV doesn't mean it true" was one of the adages my parents told me lol. And "the Internet is a very dangerous place. Never give out any personal information." Another one
so the idea is.. if you think for yourself you'll be responsible.. but if you just do what the msm says you won't be? feels like that is the messages between the lines, make you fearful of being wrong if you decide for yourself, but not if you just form opinions based on narratives.
We're doing the same at the end of this school year. My daughter's end of year assignment in English class was to write a paper on someone from American history who was 1. A person of color, 2. Part of the lgbtqia+! Community, and 3. Who was wronged/ targeted by the u.s. government.
I was like what in the actual fuck is this propaganda bullshit homework
And there it is. The first of many to come; a mind crime. Learning anything not approved by state and media is wrong and will, eventually, be made illegal. Chalk another one to the board of reasons they will hunt us down.
Sorry, but too many people think that "doing the reseach" means sitting on line looking for stuff that already confirms your beliefs, and makes you feel validated.
That's not reseach.
There are things going on the world right now that are incredible, but that doesn't mean that everything incredible is true. Apply some reasoning, don't just believe any old nonsense because it feels reassuring.
I never really thought about the phrase "doing your own research" before, but now I see what they mean. They are not saying research is a bad thing, they are specifically targeting "your" research. It's fine to do paid research or research assigned by a teacher, but any personal curiosity is forbidden. This essentially means that only state-sanctioned research is going to be tolerated.
That requires trust - which I have in very short supply. I prefer trusting my own intellect and reaching my own conclusions based on having researched and gathered a decent amount of other input and opinions, from which I cull what makes sense to me.
Not doing your own research is a good way to end up being FOOLED.

Just change your pronouns to Dictator/Supreme Ruler. Everybody knows it is a crime to question pronouns.
You just described how they operate. They're fakes.

The truth will set you free.
This is a problem for the DS.

We had it good in this department and it's a good thing for our country. I salute those who raised you to question everything.
That is not what confronting looks like.
Not doing your own research makes you a sheep!!
That's exactly what they want! The more sheep there are, the more powerful they (Gov., DS, media, NWO, etc) are.

They've be n saying tusj for years now. It's one of the reasons why I pulled my daughter from public school.

She can pick #3 and write about the J6 prisoners.

We would still need to research which dumbass "expert" to trust wouldn't we?
Better we donit ourselves. Seems we get the truth faster.
