"4 Large Mega Corporations Now Own 85% Of The Entire Industry. 2 Of Them Are Foreign Owned, 1 Of Them Is Chinese
“50% or more of the beef processing be controlled by countries outside of the US. It comes down to our own food source security.”
“We used to make fair amount of return on my cattle, but the industry has changed dramatically with the government allowing the consolidation of the meat processing business.
4 companies, giant companies got together and decided to roll that up, consolidate it, and that's just business. But when we get on the other side of it and we take into account the ramifications on our national economic health. It has a very detrimental effect.
Our government allowed 2 giant companies controlled by foreign governments to come in and acquire.
One of them is controlled by the Chinese, and they bought Smithville out of North Carolina. And the other one was a Brazilian company that came in and bought up one of the other major players.
So now we have an industry, 85% of it actually has been consolidated and rolled up and controlled by 4 companies. Four companies now are dictating who gets what, where, and when. Do you see?
But nobody thought our government would let 50% or more of the beef processing be controlled by countries outside of the US. It comes down to our own food source security.
The geopolitical situation we find ourselves in, why would we want to have an antagonist on 25% of our meat processing? It makes no sense at all.”"
US exports to foreign countries. US imports from Brazil. Inspected in US. Packaged in US label gets slapped on it. Same with other commodities. Corn and soybean in particular.
This is all nothing new. I was yelling about this years ago. It does need to change. I haven't bought beef in the store for many many years. Grew my own. Now buy from local, small herd cattle growers.
Not true, actually. These lovely folks seem to have gotten some regs changed such that if meat is in some ways handled (cut, packaged, whatever) in the USA then it can be labeled "Product of the USA" or something to that effect (am going on memory here), so then they are producing pork in China, shipping it to the USA and packaging it and the packaging does not say "Made in China" and on the contrary says "Product of the USA".
The ranchers on Instagram have been talking about a new USDA rule passed earlier this week where the cow has to been born, raised, slaughtered, and processed in the US to get the “Product of USA” label now. Not sure when it takes effect?
Not that long ago, some Iowa farmers (I believe it was Iowa) were talking about putting together an independent meat processing group - coop per se to counter their monopoly. I think that a lot of people have started to wake up and with shit like mcdo's charging over $ 20.00 for two people to eat a burger (LMFAO) families are cooking more at home AND paying attention to quality and where our food is sourced. McDo's is low grade shit meat to add comedy that is the $10.00 plus burger meal. Counter that with an in and out double double not the pricing between the two. I rejoice in seeing mc do's failing around where I live. People are not spending the money and the franchise is closing shop. (Assumed franchise versus corp store).
Sorry for the rant, net net, people are becoming more aware of food source and lack of transparency along with all the fuckery that is involved with garbage like fake meat. People are getting back to quality and basics. Local coops will go a long way to slowing and ending the current consolidation. I am hungry, think I will throw a rib eye on the grille for lunch.
There is a silver lining -- once Trump is back in office, 13848 makes this an easy fix. And as a bonus these type of companies and the systems used had all been corrupted and all needed to be revamped anyway and this gives a blank slate to begin again.
Weve all seen Agenda 47. I bet that the planning is much more extensive than we have seen and covers almost every aspect of our economy and social systems. If you believe there is a plan and that everything we have seen had been mapped out beforehand then we muct assume this planning has been taking place since at least October 2017 when Q went public.
You know, that executive order can’t do anything unless everything is foreign owned, but it wasn’t all foreign owned until the last few years, and everything being foreign owned would look a lot like losing, but if that didn’t happen, how would we ever convince the sleepers that it could actually happen?
Do you suppose Trump secretly made a deal with these foreign vendors to pay off our debt obligations to them, but the deal only lasts for a certain amount of time, then the “executive order” takes effect, and the debt gets neutralized, and the balance sheets zeroed out, but in reality it was just a bunch of deals that had already been made coming into fruition?
The hardest part of game theory is how winning looks almost exactly like losing, and it’s so hard to tell which is actually happening until the endgame hits and future proves past.
"One of them is controlled by the Chinese, and they bought Smithville out of North Carolina. And the other one was a Brazilian company that came in and bought up one of the other major players. "
We need to find out the name of the other company, the Brazilian company, then, we need to NOT purchase anything from both of these companies: Smithville and not named yet and locate ranchers to purchase meat from to show support through our wallets.
exactly^ and this Supports the animals too, gives them a chance at a regular life and death. it absolutely disgusts me how these rich people treat animals, like products😠
but my family also worked in packing houses, so I know the toll it takes on a person. my friend's dad couldn't stop drinking after work, would get emotional. And he was a tough man:(
That would be very hard working in a packing house. I know I would try to sneak out the animals and replace them with fellow humans that do not contribute anything positive to life.
thanks:) and yes, it was an unappreciated hard life for So many especially the men on the 'kill floor'. it changed them.
& the more I read, the more I know it was fueled by greed & lack of empathy for the workers & animals.
why I like to remind people to think about 'where' they get their meat and the stress hormones involved. lived too close to where it happened/ duty to share, millions & millions🐂 year after year. lots of blood/loosh in my opinion, Q did say it's like the matrix...😳

Coincidence the Matrix (movie) grew people as a crop, used for energy, and controlled their mind?
Sound familiar?
Wonder where they derived that idea from.
Now comes the 'conspiracy' label.
Deeper we go, the more unrealistic it all becomes.
The end won't be for everyone.
That choice, to know, will be yours.

This does not add up to your meat is being imported.
It's domestic meat. Being processed at US based plants.
The plants are owned by foreign companies but what they are describing is the domestic supply chain

We've been exporting American grown livestock and importing it to be sold here for a while now. You can thank NAFTA and the TPP for that.

How so?
no farms, no food. where are all the vocal farmaid activist artists that did those concerts a few years ago?

It makes perfect sense, they bought Washington before the meat packing industry.
Obama got rid of COOL (country of origin labeling) The stuff in the grocery could be from anywhere now! We need to support local, buy local!
Wish these assholes would stop messing with my food.
They're not gonna like it when the public starts messing with them.
