Yeah, can you imagine what Taylor Swift had to do to reach her level of success? I listened to a few of her most popular songs and was like WTF, I know people who sing better and write better songs, who work in the bars of Nashville as cover bands, bartenders, and security.
regarding Taylor, her parents groomed her for this since she was a little girl, they were marketing and pushed her and promoted her, had connections in the industry, you may not be old enough, but Judy Garland, singer and actress from the 50's, was treated that way, fed uppers and downers, no childhood at all. Of course there are better singers than Taylor, but marketing can do wonders, as can a sound studio, the one thing about Swift that is talented is that she seems to know her way around the studio and she works well with the engineers there. Her parents basically turned their daughter into their career, putting all their time and energy into promoting her.
It also helped that her dad was a banker for Merril Lynch (banker, hmmm ...) and put good money into her first label company, Big Machine. They've tried to brush it off as saying he only had a small stake percentage, but the truth is he was well invested in that label.
Tl;Dr, banker daddy funded her career; years later the ungrateful snot writes songs trashing men.
Interesting, because Toby Keith was credited with “finding her” and putting her on his label. Must have been a marketing ploy to make her look organic, and Toby must have got something out of it too.
Yup, I dated several ladies prettier and more talented than her who didn't get so much as a sniff from the big talent agencies but are locally known in Nashville. One gal in particular was made to work real hard for a billionaire (entertaining his high end clients with country music), but her career didn't take off probably because she wouldn't bang the guy or his friends and her mother was a high profile entertainment lawyer. In other words, her mom protected her, so the girls only way to advance would be for her to "make the first move". She told me many stories about non-managmeng band talent that would not work with her unless she agreed to sex. At the time I just thought these were the occasional asshole you had no navigate, only in the past few years have I come to realize how bad it is.
Then you have to kill someone you loved and do strange sex things with all those people on cameras.

yeah, Judy Garland at 16 was a better singer than Taylor Swift and the rest of that lot will ever be
The tone
Amen Brother. And yes, she was abused.
Sadly true, CQVFEFE.
I do NOT have enough upvote...

I'm still unable to shake how much she looks like Zeena LeVey. I'm not usually a "clone" guy, but maaaan that similarity is uncanny!

Cannot get that much fame without help from the satan machine
Swift is this generations Britney Spears.
In Theatre they call them stage moms. Good info on Taylor, I didn't know about that. I have a friend who dotes on her, and he is 64 lol.
She was performing like a witch calling her lord.

Yeah, but isn't that part of selling your Soul to the devil?
Probably. I never talk to those demons, so I don't know.
