This error.
Christians are obligated to keep the 10 Commandments “.”
Sunday worship was instituted by Roman Catholicism, where their own writings acknowledge the true Sabbath (Saturday) and claim the power to change it. It is an attack on the Creator and Creation.
No amount of traditions or non-Biblical gyrations will change the word of God as He himself wrote in stone in Exodus.
Jesus (God incarnate) worshiped on Saturday. In fact He observed the Sabbath while in the grave He died on Friday afternoon (before sunset and the start of the Sabbath) then rested in the grave during the Sabbath and rose on the first day. And no his resurrection didn’t change it to Sunday because the disciples kept the Saturday sabbath as did the early Christian church for centuries until the ani-Christ system changed it.
In fact this beast system also eliminated a commandment regarding worship of idols, then split another to keep it at 10.
Look it up yourself, don’t take my word (or anyone’s word for that matter). Read KJV Exodus then compare with the Catholic version of the commandments.
This group is too smart to not seek out truth, but I’m ready for the down doots and … well you know.
it was obligatory for the nation of Israel, but not for Christians who live during this present age.
The 10 commandments are no longer obligatory?
9 of the 10 are stated in the NT but sabbath is not. There is several types of sabbath stated in the Bible. the sabbath we talk about was specifically for the Israelites. The one Jesus talked about is God's sabbath. We are part of God's sabbath not the Israelites.
Also, have you ever sinned, ever told a lie, ever stole even something tiny? Ever filled with anger over someone? Ever looked at a woman lustfully? These are all part of the 10 commandments. If you do any of these, you have broken the law, and you must pay the fine which is eternal death.
You are so focused on these things you are commanded to do but don't know why they were there in the first place or who they were for or why. Jesus, paid your fine, and you are now legally allowed to live. All you do is trust in christ, believe in him. If you trust him, and have faith in him, you will naturally try and emulate him and do good works. But works and following commands is not how you earn your way to heaven. You have already been granted entry. Not because you deserve it, but because God is good. Jesus died for you so you will have eternal life. This is the good news. It truely is Good news. Just trust in God, let Jesus christ be your guide and walk with him the best you can. Call upon him for help when you stumble. That's all. The truth is written on your heart remember? You already know him. He already knows you. But now, grow your relationship with him. Learn all you can. Talk to him.
Doesn't Paul explicitly state in Hebrews 4:
You only got one down doot, and that was probably from the person trying to blow smoke up everyone's ass.
It makes you wonder why they would do that.
Thanks for putting up the facts. I didn't know the details, but when I read it, it had the ring of truth to it.
Seeking genuine the truth isn’t for everyone - including those who claim to be “truthers”
Anti-Jewish measure, I think, not to share the same day of rest as the Christ killers. But there are a bunch of culty "Christians" reverting to Jewish practice. Jesus gave the summary of the commandments, and He didn't care about what day of the week it was.
All you can do is accuse me of being in a cult. WOW okay, I hope you feel good about that “brother”.
Q: When did Christianity begin? Please be specific.
Isaiah
Nah. Christianity = Jesus.
Christianity began when Jesus was baptized and God the father spoke and acknowledged Him as his son.
Jesus began his ministry and gathered His disciples.
And during His approx 3 yr ministry He and his disciples kept the true Sabbath (Saturday). Do you deny this? Can you point out anywhere in the scriptures where God the Father or Jesus His son changed the Holy Sabbath (written in stone by God) to Sunday (the day of the sun)?
