Still think it's worth calling out. They know it would affect them quite adversely, so they don't do it.
I think she realizes it too, which is why she continues to push it.
I laugh that people have turned against her as she is a radfem, but I laugh that she is an older radfem and not as much of a modern supremacist radfem and therefore has no problem shitting on the alphabets when they push too hard.
Pretty sure she is an alphabet and that this battle is a continuation of the one Martina Navratilova, also a lesbo, fought and then capitulated several years ago.
This is a battle between LG and BTQ+ over who is higher on the intersectionality victim chart.
Most LG and Bs (ugh) I've met in my life hate the TQWTFBBQs. My ex (B) and I commonly facepalm together at the agenda, and so often we are trashing alphabet mafia together like it's a pastime.
Ultimately it comes down to a different wave of feminism, but I will laugh giddily as they argue with each other. That they have created a label ("TERF") for radfems that don't agree with them is hilarious.
I don't see the fat-ass game-of-thrones fatass FU "to my entire world audience I'll just stop writing haflway through" driving-cap wearing half author of Game of Thrones clearly 3 pegs below J.R.R (he even stole the R.R) doing jack shit against this dreck!
I was actually thinking about that video the other day, when a friend pointed out to me Martin's stupid quote about Tolkien not going into more detail: "Did he maintain a standing army?" and all that jazz.
Cue maybe the best line in ERB history:
"But news flash--the genre's called FANTASY! It's meant to be unrealistic, you myopic manatee!"
Some people may dislike Brandon Sanderson for X/Y/Z reason, but I love where he's taking his Cosmere franchise and I love that he is such an enthusiastic writing machine fantasy nerd, especially since he also loves classic, traditional leatherbound books.
George R.R. Martin has trouble finishing his own stories, meanwhile Brandon Sanderson moves between different series, not all of them even Cosmere related and even different genres and age ranges (The Reckoners, Skyward, even a children's series) and seems to return with even more vigor.
He clearly loves what he does, and it has made him an author that may very well eclipse George R.R. Martin in acclaim and recognition one day.
The fact that he has a rough timeline and has not had huge gaps between books is incredible compared to George. Even better that his next Stormlight book is later this year, which is a sendoff to the first arc and half of the series.
So many authors, newer and older, have been eclipsed because people liked a couple seasons of Game of Thrones and it's high time they get recognized for putting in the work to deliver to their fans.
Sanderson was chosen to finish Robert Jordans Wheel of Time after he died. Thats high acclaim. I liked Sandersons Mistborn series and just finished book 3 of the Stormlight series.
I am finishing the second era of Mistborn slowly but surely, and I am caught up on Stormlight. I still have to go back through things like Elantris (apparently one of his weakest works in regards to prose) and Warbreaker, and I think I have just about every one of his YA/adult books. Not grabbed his children's books, though I'm sure it would be an amusing little read.
What I find fascinating about Brandon Sanderson's writing is that he manages to make both conservative and progressive stand ins seem more fair in regards to each other than real life, which is a feat in itself in the modern era.
I love tremendously long books, and long running series so that's what attracted me to Stormlight Archive (and subsequently, the rest of his books) to begin with.
So long as he finishes his series, he's leagues better for long term investment than George.
Gads... Imagine being arrested for saying what you see right in front of you, with your own eyes.....
Celebrity privilege.
In this case I don’t care. Trans insanity needs to be stopped at all costs. Be glad JK isn’t sucking a tranny cock

You can probably just toss B into that too.

Step 1 to call government bluff: Be WILDLY famous and wealthy
Good for her, may this inspire other Jocks to tell their First Minister "Get awa to fook ye bawbag!!"

You're half right. George Raymond Martin added the "confirmation name" Richard when he was 13 years old.
He didn't steal it.
He is, however, a lazy-bones who won't finish his damn story.

Kek! I'm updooting the Silmarillions guy, that fat guy even stole his R.R!

And Arya kill-stealing the Night King from John was just lazy-ass writing!
