Watch BIG3 instead.
It's run by Ice Cube, who was interviewed by Tucker Carlson, hates the NBA, was not jabbed, and says he is not part of "the club."
Also, it's not magnets. It's the referees giving the Lakers far, far, FAR more free throws than they give to other teams.
It's rigged via the referees.
Don't believe me? Two words: Tim Donaghy.
Yeah the magnet video is not convincing at all, it's absurd. Anybody who's watched any NBA knows the referees control the game by the fouls they call and the stars get all the calls.
The two methods are not mutually exclusive. They can do both.
"That goes all the way back to Michael Jordan! You couldn't even TOUCH the guy without a whistle!"
Wrong.
I stand by my statement about BIG3, though. They're not perfect (seriously, what is with the four-pointer circles? Threes are stupid enough), but they actually allow physical defense and trash talk--plus, again, they're run by a man that actually seems to be ON OUR SIDE.
I watched a Bulls game back in the day. The other team stole the ball and was going in for a fastbreak layup. Jordan hacked the guy. Good foul to give, really, and they called it. However, they called it on #24, I believe his last name was Blount, and he was at the other end of the court with an injury.
Jordan was a great player, but they bent the rules for him big time. The league believed it needed a superstar to keep it afloat. Remember, the league almost went under before Magic Johnson and Larry Bird arrived.
It was disgusting watching star players get away with everything. I completely lost interest after that. It was rigged 30+ years ago, and it's rigged today. All sports are. College, at least big time, and pro.
I lost interest when they no longer called things like traveling, carrying over, palming the ball, etc.
And traveling is NEVER called. If it was James Harden would be sweeping floors at a local highschool as a profession.
Professional sports was always rooting for laundry.
If we cheer a team it should be of our children learning teamwork, competition, and diligence, while strengthening themselves.
It will be better to leverage the shock they hit us with, count it as a blessing, take that time and use it to start being productive, we’ve got a big hole to climb out of, and we all seem to know it’s about to get harder. Far better to move now, or at least keep it limited in scope.
The part of the video showing examples of basketballs sticking to the rim instead of bouncing out is very convincing. I was neutral on the theory of magnets until I saw that.
Two more: Joey Crawford.
Ejected Tim Duncan for just staring.
He earned it.
Most sarcastic stare ever.
