Our local news here, Spectrum One, gave OJ a GLOWING sendoff. What a great ball player he was etc. etc. etc. It was truly amazing.
I happened to be out of the country when the verdict came down, was never that interested to watch the trial, but have heard arguments both agreeing and disagreeing with the verdict from those who were watching it.
What I DO remember, however, is that Oprah Winfrey had some (white) woman caller on the line on her show and Oprah was trying to convince her that, even if OJ was guilty, it was a good thing that he was acquitted because that’s what black people have been subject to over time. I never liked Oprah, always thought there was something wrong with her, something creepy about her and that she wasn’t very intelligent, but that put the nail in the proverbial coffin where she’s concerned in my eyes as I lost all respect for her and realized she’s a blatant racist. She was basically preaching that murdering innocent people was okay because it was somehow balancing the scales of justice in her warped perception. It’s not okay for ANY human being to murder an innocent human being regardless of what color anyone’s skin is.
This ridiculous idiot here, sounding very much like Oprah did at the time of the OJ verdict, is just another product of marxist mind-warping who’s either a psychopathic zealot or a cold-hearted, manipulative minion playing it’s role to foment racial antagonism. All wrapped up in half-wit “analysis” and delivered in a “caring” tone. I expect nothing different from CNN and the other propagandists in FNM, I suppose. They put the most vile creatures in front of the camera to spew their hatred to their dwindling viewership.
Talk about beating a dead horse, though… does the left still not realize that their attempts to foment racial and/or civil war are simply not working? Only because [they] were pushing that shit in the communities at the time. I remember. Also, the whole show trial was a big narrative deployment; by who I dont know but it was amazing to see people get emotional over the outcome, however it went down.
The respectable and law abiding blacks that I know have all said they didn't like OJ and that he should've been convicted and given a life sentence.
