Yup. In Germany, it's about 30-35%. We had massive subventions here for buying an EV, up to €6750, Government (means: taxpayer) funded. Government stopped the funding, sales plunge. Nobody wants these shitty "cars", people who bought this crap just wanted to be hip and to save money. Like Harari would say: "that's over". Bye bye, electromobility.

Audi 3.0L V6 Diesel is (was) one of the best engines ever made. Clean, low in fuel consumtion, lots of power, very long lasting (300,000 Km+ with ease). That's what I call sustainable, but the retards will never understand this.
I drive a Mazda 3…..about 40 mpg. I change the oil regularly. 305,000 miles so far and runs like a top!
The best engine is one that is overbuilt, performance and reliability usually have to compromise to find the perfect balance. For your daily drive reliability is all the matters.
My friend had one of those cheatin' Volkswagens. Loved it. Until the recall where they had to tune the engine back and then it was awful. Why can't companies make the best product they can engineer and that the customer wants instead of having to follow impossible government mandates?
Funny, they bought BACK my 80,000 mile ‘14 Passat TDI manual for enough money for me to get a ‘15 TDI SEL automatic with a compliant ECU for free and $4k change back. I have > 150k miles on it now and it still gets over 50 mpg highway. It’s just as peppy (as a diesel gets) as it was with 33k when I got it.
The SEL trim package also has a Fender-branded kick-ass stereo.
Yeah, I think they got a ton of money back, but they bought from a different company.

When you catch your kid trying out smoking, its a very delicate situation. If you yell at him, hit him, put fear of God in him - it usually only makes him even more curious. If you tell him all the bad ways it could damage your health, he will simply scoff and say "What about all those people who smoke and are perfectly healthy even in old age".
Over years, many fathers figured out that the only way to stop that kid from smoking ever again, is to force him to smoke the whole pack, one after another. He will be so sick of it, he will never want to touch a smoke again.
That's exactly what an aunt of mine did; I enjoyed watching my obnoxious cousin turn green and run to the bathroom.

Oh yeah. The old S4 six speed was mated to the W8. VR 6 to a five speed bright red with black leather Remarks and the little speed sensitive spoiler.
They definitely should keep the MT but I sure am loving the 6spd DSG so far after 5-6months of having it

I saw a story about how Bentley is making the last W12 engine car, after that it’s history :( but it’s been nice to see the 5 cylinder revival, I’ve got one on an engine stand with a forged crank just waiting for me to make poor financial decisions lol that’s years away now thanks to JOBAMA
'63 Beetle for my fam! Meep, meep! Couldn't put a radio in it because, I think, the electrical system was 6Vdc. Heater never got the car warm. The engine hood would catch on the rear bumper. Dad had to slam it shut with his foot. And then there was the constant pinging from the engine all the time.
VW has come a long way since then.

I like the Dodge Charger, but the new '24 models will be ONLY electric! So, obviously NOT buying one of those. Apparently there will be gas versions of the new model available in '25, so I will wait for that. I'd like to know who is buying a stupid ELECTRIC Charger.

People have the power to choose and all the WEF/cabal push for EV is not helping the automakers. They’re going to find out they can’t force us to eat bugs, lab meat, buy EV etc. Consumers determine the market and boycotting is one of our weapons.
With the MASSIVE enthusiast base built around looking good, sounding good and going fast, their Brand has only been saved and kept alive through these individuals. VW as a company is asleep at the wheel..
Cant collect all those carbon taxes without people emitting that carbon. This is part of their plan. Its not a win.
