Don't know about the infection but you will be surprised how well Ivermectin works to clear up all sinus issues. I've had sinus problems including infections twice a year for decades but that is all gone since using Ivermectin periodically. I use the liquid (injectable) by drinking it in a couple ounces of juice. Valley Vet dot com has 500mg bottles for $85 (will last a co0uple of years) and just measure it into the glass with a syringe (16-gauge needle is best). I buy the syringe at the local vet supply store along with the needles because of how cheap it is. $100 combined IVM & syringe/needles will keep you in supplies for years.
In the past I had to use antibiotics twice a year.
I suffer from regular sinus infections and I use Colloidal Silver in nasal sprayer. When I feel one starting I will give each nostril 2 shots, 3 times a day. That usually clears it up in a couple of days.
Dr Malone recommended a lavage with a few drops of iodine to help prevent covid. I've used it multiple times with great success. Makes sense, iodine has been used to treat infections for decades.
2,000 mg vitamin C
10,000 mg Vitamin D3
1,000 mg NAC
600-800 mg of Quercetin (or another zinc ionophore)
50 mg zinc
There are other things you can add to this regimen, but this is the minimum I would take if it were me. When you get rid of the infection and are no longer sick, cut the dosages of vitamins C and D3 in half.
I had a chronic sinus infection for 9 years. Desperate to get rid of it, I bought a box that emits electricity on a frequency that allegedly kills bacteria and parasites. I held the box to my face for 7 minutes three times per day, and after a few days, the sinus infection was completely gone. After so many years of not being able to breathe/smell, that box was a miracle for me.
The box was invented by Hulda Clarke back in the 40s or 50s, and someone posted the plans for her box online so anyone can build them. Unfortunately, the company I bought my box from is out of business, but if you do a search for Hulda Clarke technology, you'll find lots and lots of companies selling them.
Edit to add: prior to my finding the box, colloidal silver was what worked best for me at keeping the sinus infection under control... but the colloidal silver never 100% got rid of it for me.
I have had at least two sinus infections every year since I moved to high pollen DC area over 50 years ago, except for the last three. I have taken invermectin as a profelactic for the last three. If I catch a cold or flu, it lasts 1 day and zero sinus infections.
I use colloidal silver in my Nettie pot with warmed up distilled water. Never use tap water
Nebulize food grade hydrogen peroxide 3% with saline. Kills the germs in your whole sinus area.
2 parts saline to 1 part 3% FGHP.

Aoxicillin has always worked for me. But a polyp can create an environment that leads to constant infections.

I've used several drops of providone iodine in a netting pot, worked great and my sinus cleared in a few days.
Vit D & C, good sleep
u/hellodolly used mms to treat sinus infection. Here’s that thread. You can search mms on this site to get more info, too.

Sit in a hot car in the middle of the afternoon. Do it several times and take water breaks. Don't turn the air on
