Volume is at 23 million right now, pre-market! For comparison, on May 1, it was 2.66 million and $11/share.
Roaring Kitty woke up on Sunday and Andrew Tate urged everyone to buy after buying $1 million worth of shares himself - to help take down the Matrix. Game on!
I have 17 shares myself!
I have 8. Really wish I woulda gone bigger.
I do not have much either, from what I've read, everyone only needs one. There was a meme a few years ago that depicted the larger hodlers, standing over, protecting the medium hodlers and same for the medium over the smaller hodlers. We are all in this together, it's about taking down the big man. No cell, no sell.
Love it! What does that phrase mean anyway? No cell no sell?
I believe it means hold until price looks like a cellphone number (10 digits +). Thats my take, anyways.
I'm not selling until the corrupt are locked up lol
That makes sense! 😂
It means not selling and the perpetrators should be put to death, not jailed, actually.
kek, yep, hindsight is 20/20. We all have these thoughts. I wish I woul dhave bought more when it was around 12-15 dollars
When it's several thousand per share nobody will care if they bought at $10 or at $50.
During the sneeze, for some reason partial shares were being sold for over $5k per share. Not many people know about that.
its gonna be a great day
AMC is kicking ass too.
They are halting AMC and KOSS also.
BlackBerry also jumped this morning and is following the same trend as AMC, KOSS and GME.
Suspended as soon as the market opened. Lol
u/#yesss
Let's go!
The banner on CNBC right now…
“Stocks making the biggest pre market moves: GameStop….”
It got first billing 😊
Opened at $70.31. And trading halted! 😁
Holy shit, it's jumped $20 from market open!!
Buckle up cadets, me thinks we're in for a ride!
Hey guys, funny aspect of this story.
CNBC is interviewing 2 people as to why the meme stocks are shooting higher now.
First guy blah blah no clue.
Second guy also blah blah ... BUT ... he works for Susquehana, one of the major suspected criminals behind the scenes.
Of course! CNBC will ask the guy with the matches and lighter fluid in his hands what he thinks caused the fire.
LOL.
Some paper hands in here. Disappointing.
Short term greed combined with a lack of knowledge about the bigger picture. They will regret selling, just like the people who cashed out of Bitcoin early.
Most certainly. I'll sell a couple at 50k just to get our mortgage gone. And I mean a couple like 2. The kids will inherit the other 98.
I have a limit order to sell 10 shares at 120 to cover all investment plus take a small profit - I'll be playing with House money from then on. HODLING the rest until life changing money is offered
I am sitting tight on all shares. Most are DRS’d which makes it easier to HODL. I’m going to watch this week play out as I believe this could drag on for weeks as the swaps expire with the shorted shares and the hedgies become more desperate.
I’ve waited 3 years. I can be patient. I also know Ryan Cohen has a plan so if I miss selling, some blockbuster deal is in the works with a lot of the other stocks I also own.
Don't get me wrong, I'm hodling a lot more than I'd be selling - just covering my investment so then I can feel okay if it drops to zero (not what I expect but this stategy worked out great for me on a few other trades, DWAC in particular)
Computershare is so slow right now, couldn't sell my DRSd shares if I wanted to kek
Yeah, my daughter is at work and asked me to try to put a limit order in on her account. Very slow. Haven’t been able to yet.
Buy via a broker and then DRS?
Is it still supposed to go to a ridiculous price per share at some point?
Yes. Apparently the shorted shares were put into swaps that have now started expiring. They were counting on GameStop being delisted and it is not. Time to pay the piper. A lot of pissed-off retail investors will make them pay big bucks to get hands on real (not synthetic) shares.
💯
Who has the risk on the swaps?
I saw on one comment (I think?) that Credit Suisse is one?
That went from Archegos to Credit Suisse, and now onto UBS. It's a snowball effect, taking down bigger and bigger entities as it goes. This ride has just begun.
Who knows - that's what I'm hoping for but will sell enough to cover all i have into it if share price gets that high.
Smart move.
Can I ask a question on this, but around AMC? I'm hoping that AMC follows the rebound the GME of s experiencing. That being said, my son bought about 225 shares when it was low in 2020. Somehow, "they" stripped him of about 200 shares because they weren't "valid". Are these ghost shares and is that legal if you bought them through a legal exchange?
Are you sure he was "stripped" of them, or was a large chunk converted into $APE shares around 2022.
No, I don't know for sure. I only know what he said. Like he had xx# of shares, now has like 22 shares. He said he was sent something on it, but didn't understand it. I'm trying to help him if I can. He worked hard to get this, because he kinda saw the same thing for AMC as GME, but to late for GME.
Here's some context from that link I provided that might help him better understand what happened to his shares. He needs to look closely at his statements:
Yes, I forgot about that. That is what happened: 1-for-10 reverse stock split.
Shares went down 10:1, but price also went up 10:1.
This!
