Been listening to a bunch of carnivore and low carb diet doctors and they discuss all of this. It is incredible what the food industry has been doing.

Yes! "Wheat Belly" details studies of "ancient wheat" versus "modern wheat" and the chemical effects between the two. I read it a few years ago, even bought cookbooks, etc., to offset the CRAP sold in grocery stores.
Ancient wheat is good for you - our current wheat, if genetically modifed, is NOT - causes increased obesity and harm to overall health. It also graphs the levels of obesity since the change in diet from ancient wheat to gmo.
We make our own bread, sadly, ancient wheat is hard to find. At least we can leave out the chemicals added.

I switched to organic, unbleached, unfortified flour for everything I make (pastas, crusts, sourdough, etc.) and have lost 15 lbs in the last year, feel much better. Even being diabetic. ALL seeds I use for my gardening/canning are non-GMO.
I feel much better when I eat only fruits and veggies. When I eat bread, ice cream and pasta from the store and restaurants I get congested sick etc. I am very thin.
It sure explains why people exploded in size. I remember the 80s, people were mostly skinny, except a few people.
I graduated high school maybe two dudes and three or four girls that were fat. Like for real fat. Now they're literally everywhere I go.
On YouTube recently, I watched a video of footage recorded at a shopping mall from the early 80s. I did not see any fat people in the video at all, and there were so many dresses worn be actual women too.
All of us are suppose to believe the reason we're fat is because we're not exercising enough. I think there's more going on than that.
I developed a wheat allergy about 10 years ago, thanks to an antidepressant. On the one hand, it makes it very difficult to eat out and almost impossible to travel, especially since I've cut out seed oils as well. On the other hand, I have to by default avoid most of the processed crap in supermarkets. It's amazing what they put wheat in. Even some "gluten free" products contain wheat.
Exactly. It is hard for me as well but it doesn’t bother me anymore. Once in a while I do it but I know for sure I will get sick per days though
You're lucky. If I have wheat I can go into anaphylactic shock.
Not that lucky though cuz I have an episode everyday, can’t breath, I have congestion and phlegm, all started in 2020 after the friking Covid (bioweapon). I don’t know what they did to me but never got the jab only the test couple of times and mask for a little bit. Right now I am having chest pain for lack of breathing.

This is totally true. I've found since I started going gluten free I've had far less cravings than I used to. I've also seen a huge uptick in people going GF. When I first started it was all specialty stores, now its more mainstream.
I mill my own flour from wheat berries and make all of my carbs. Only carbs I eat and I'm the weirdo bringing my own bread to places if I go out to eat. I fixed my digestive issues and allergies I have had my whole life. Real bread. Real ingredients. Short shelf life. It's a chore but worth it.
MSG does something similar.
Farmers know that there is zero GMO wheat. My husband schooled a liberal on a Viking River cruise.

GMO grains also leads to (DAS)* and gluten allergies. I don't remember quite as many people having "irritable bowel" before the 2000s.
