Steve Bannon was also adamant that Trump would become president through a house floor vote in 2021 so there is that.
As much as we would like to think of our MAGA personalities to be all-knowing, they are all still human, and probably do not know as much as we think.
There is also a possibility that said personality is just "virtue signaling" to maintain or gain social media followers and clout from the platform.
Keep that in mind when a personality is asserting something without evidence to back it up.

I have a weird suspicion that once Trump is locked up, the unsealing can begin. And then all hell breaks loose and no one can blame Trump because he’s incarcerated.

With the recent debate, YES, there is major pressure on the "judge" Merchan to put Trump in prison, even knowing that it will all be overturned. There are no consequences for a judge being overturned.

If they put Trump in prison now, after the debate that showed he is the only viable candidate to lead the country moving forward, there will be more outrage than people can imagine. A ton of Democrats will see it for what it is. Simply eliminating the competition so an incompetent, diaper wearing fool can rule over them 4 more years.
Even they will see the treason right in their faces.
I wouldn't want to put $$ on the fact that there will be no consequences for Judge Merchan. Trump has a long memory.

Bannon did mention that the sentence could be delayed for a couple years. He did not say why. I guess I am searching for hope.
