I couldn't find my regular sinus pressure pill. Sudafed PE and all the house brands of such have been pulled off the shelf, citing some FDA "studies" that "suggest" it doesn't work. That little red pill has staved off migranes for 7+ years! Luckily, for now, I can still get it off the innerwebs BUT, I think they KNOW what works well and try to make it REALLY HARD to obtain. I'm an automobile mechanic for 42+ years and have seen attempts to strangulate the industry through limited parts availability and quality. NOW, THEY'RE DOING IT TO HEALTHCARE!!!

Check with your local pharmacist. Many states have taken it off the shelves and put it with the pharmacy behind the counter. It is not a prescription item though. You ask for it and they will keep a record of how much you buy, usually with a I’d or driver license. Sudafed, generically known as Pseudoephedrine, can be used to make speed.
Yeah in Illinois they've been hiding the pseudoephedrine behind the counter since the early 2000s.
Thats methed up
Give this legend an up doot. It’s too early for this type of epic wordplay, we don’t deserve you.
I like your methheads.
Mike Tyson... is that you?
KeK- true. Limit how many you can get in a month so you're not out doing a shake and bake in the parking lot.
That's the REAL sudafed, like to make meth with. It works, but not the same. AND I REALLY DON'T LIKE BEING TRACKED, like with the "savings" tag grocery stores handed out in the '90s.
You don't need to sign for it in my state (CA, and they're the worst on almost everything). They will sell it to you without any registry. It's just behind the counter. That was an FDA thing a number of years ago.
I don’t like being tracked either.
But I do remember something about phenylephrine being taken off shelves. I think they claimed it did not work. But I’m sure it worked for a lot of people. I think it’s silly they took it off the shelf.
Yeah me either, but if you buy it online you are being tracked.
Yes and then when you reach a certain amount in a certain amount of time, they tell you you've reached your limit of times you can purchase it, but when you share the box of allergy pills with multiple family members then you tend to have to come back often to buy more and that's when they say you reached your limit and can't buy anymore, so you and your family go without until they let you buy again. Happens to my husband all the time, he and our daughter take the Zyrtec behind the counter. He feels like it's the only medicine that has helped his sinuses. So, sometime either myself or our daughter has to go buy it, just recently he asked the doctor for a prescription for it because he asked the pharmacist how he can get past this so he can get it when he needs more without triggering the system, and she said to get a prescription.
Heisenberg has entered the chat...
FDA pulled it.
