That's crazy, I just watched the 1980 live action Popeye movie for the first time a couple weeks ago with Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl. She was absolutely born to play that role and did a great job.
She had not only the look but she nailed the voice.
Sadly, when she was growing up kids made fun of her by calling her Olive Oyl. It's said that she literally broke down crying when it was recommended that she audition because she would be perfect for the part.
I still dearly miss Robin Williams.
With how much ad-libbing that was done in the classic animated shorts, Williams proved apt to play him.
Baffling I assume.
Possibly.
Yikes. She looked weird enough when she was young. Female version of Steve Buscemi, that one.
That guy had a gem in his feed.

She was old, but yeah, good chance you are correct.
Rich people who have access to better health-care than us peasants dying suddenly before their average life expectancy? I'm betting he's correct in his assumption.
So did Olive Oyl.
🐯🍆
I was wondering when the next round of celeb offings was gonna take place.
