I was a bit mystified by President Trump's pick of JD Vance for VP. I still don't fully understand the move, but an article I read this morning added a bit of clarity:
https://www.notus.org/trump-2024/rupert-murdoch-trump-doug-burgum-vp-j-d-vance
Bottom line: Rupert Murdoch HATES Vance to the point that the article claims Murdoch has been calling Trump multiple times per day heading up to his selection with one of the messages being "Anyone but Vance".
My question while reading the article was "Why?", and that's finally hit on at the very end with a Tucker Carlson quote:
""A lot of supposedly conservative news outlets turn out to have zero interest in anything their readers and viewers care about. Instead, they’re focused on promoting pointless wars. That’s why they’re working so hard to destroy J.D. Vance before Trump can pick him. Let’s hope they don’t succeed,” Tucker Carlson, who worked for Fox News from 2009 until 2023, told NOTUS in a statement."
Now, that quote isn't evidence, but Tucker is very plugged in. Perhaps Vance was selected in part because he doesn't have puppet strings attached to him.
Though that still doesn't explain Vance's ridiculous comments about the President a couple of years ago.
Regardless, I still don't fully understand the Vance pick. But the thought of Rupert Murdoch having heart palpitations about Vance as VP certainly makes me more comfortable with President Trump's choice.
If Vance is truly anti-war, then I like him.. I could get along with any Democrat or Republican who has a high priority of preventing wars. War isn't just hell.. it appears that most are a scam.
Actually, in 2022 Vance said this:
“I regret being wrong about the guy,” Vance said about Trump several days later on the campaign trail. “I think he was a good president, I think he made a lot of good decisions for people, and I think he took a lot of flak.” He later added: “He’s the best president of my lifetime.”
I have a lot of respect for a person who can admit when they’re wrong, especially those who are highly intelligent.
All of Vances stupid comments happened 6+ years ago. He is 39 yrs. Old...
He probably still had a hangover from his Yale TDS indoctrination program. He seems to have been cured of that for a number of years now.
I have to admit it wasn't until I was around 35 that I discovered Rush Limbaugh. Prior to that I just went along with the flow.
Kurt Schlichter on Townhall media just wrote this: "I was a traditional conservative, and I thought Donald Trump was a NYC liberal and that he would govern like one. But you know what? I was wrong."
He thinks that Vance started from a similar position, they just didn't trust that Trump meant what he talked during his first campaign because of his background. So they fought against him.
And there probably are quite a lot of similar cases. A lot of them already voted for Trump back then simply because he was the only choice unless they wanted Hillary to win, but then voted in the last elections, and now, because now they trust him.
And hopefully you will now have a bunch adding their votes who didn't vote in the previous elections because they didn't trust him or just didn't like him, or don't even now quite trust him, but have realized that there really is no choice now.
Hopefully he is separating himself from Skull and Bones that he reportedly was part of.
They go into these universities, and part of the game is to make contacts and get into networks, not just study. So of course if they are given the chance to join something like that they will. I suppose it's likely those societies are similar to something like Freemasons, there are levels they filter their members through whether those levels are official in the club or not, and on the lower levels the members may never find out exactly what they are a member of, but will see it only as some sort of social club where they meet, talk, socialize, have some fun parties etc. and will not necessarily ever learn anything about what maybe happens on the higher levels and networks of their club, except maybe some obscure hints when they are tested for deeper inclusion but will not pass those tests.
Sure there are rumors, but a lot of people will not pay any attention as they assume any rumors are always just rumors by people who have no clue about what the whole thing is about. And then, if they ever learn there was some substance in those rumors they will as surprised as any close family members or friends of most serial killers who would never have thought their dad or uncle or brother or whoever would be able to do something like that.
The linked clip, also from Tucker, is worth watching:

Trump picked Vance for exposure, ie Thiel & Ambrosia.
A lot of us ahem "older" patriots have had a hard time believing that our old GOP party was a bunch of lying dirtballs too. While many of us have been always been open to a Trump presidency, since the GOP was failing us and couldn't attract new voters to save their lives, he has always been rough around the edges which didn't sit quite right. Perhaps that was the Vance experience as well. Just my two cents.
At least we are all coming around now and see the light.
At least some of those lying dirtballs may not have started as lying dirtballs but genuinely wanted to do good, then were worn down by the system and finally gave up and just started to do things the only way they could, and try to at least benefit themselves from it when they no longer could see any way to achieve anything that would have been actually useful to the whole society.
It is always possible you will not have to change every one of the old guard, but some will start to help because they genuinely want to when they find out it's finally possible to do that.
They probably figured out that they could enrich themselves in Congress if they STFU and took the money.
People give up if trying to achieve anything they want to starts to look impossible. That has to be one way the DS has kept its power, they probably have concentrated quite a bit of their resources to wearing down anybody who got there and actually tried to do something, while, yes dangling the carrot of easy money in front of them at the same time. It would take pretty remarkable individuals to stay the course for years when it looks like nothing they try for will ever happen while there is the easy way available the whole time, do nothing and get rich.
Humans are fallible creatures.
Important. Info. Really important for me, at least.
I think the subtext of this is all of us who thought vance could be another pence and worried whether he was judas or Paul, was the number of Trump employees who spoke who claimed Trump saw something in them right from the getgo. Reassuring us,, he is good at reading people.. And we all know that his so called disastrous choices for employees in his first term was an elaborate sting operation.
This is easy. He was brainwashed, had TDS, but woke up and found his way to MAGA and became a super-MAGA guy. Lot of people start that way.
He is definitely a placeholder, but as of now he doesnt have strings and he is super MAGA. So right now Trump ticket has no RINO in it - just MAGA.
But there is no way he will be the standard bearer after Trump. I am expecting that between now and precipice, Trump will get a chance to name the real VP, and Vance will get a good cabinet position and prepped for future leadership.
Trump isn't replacing JD Vance as VP lol, that's conspiritard talk.
However, I do agree that Vance isn't the successor. That title belongs to Don Jr, Vivek, Tucker, or perhaps someone we haven't heard about yet.
I don't particularly care for him yet, but oh well, I don't have to....
Same, but we can change our minds later, too.
From blue-pilled Clinton voter normie to red-pilled president to be badass. His hero's journey will reflect the same process happening for the younger generations, America as a whole, and even spill to the international stage. It was a Q+ nod to anons.
Very Interdasting. Upvoat. 🐸

In short, he’s a Peter Thiel acolyte, he’s been trained in venture capitalism, high tech savvy, capable of creating a good narrative, and is a former marine. There is a good chance he has been and will continue to be involved in getting Silicon Valley flipped back to our side / light.
