That is why the answer to every security question should be something that isn't an answer. I like to use WWG1WGA
My answers have always been like this:
Question1: none Question2: none1 Question: none 2
In other words, you rarely need those questions to recover a password. They can send an email to reset it
Honestly I feel like such a dumbass for even filling in answers to security questions for years.
With that being said, strong passwords are super important and different ones for every login.
Use a password manager. If you’re not using one, your passwords probably aren’t strong enough
use passwords of randomness, never anything that links to you

That stuff is very normal in IT but you don’t have to let them install the management certificate if you don’t want to. Some organizations won’t let you see your email then but that’s ok. Others will just make you respond to a notification every time

Cable co came out to install new cable modem... Mexican installer asked me what I wanted to name the network and I said "Stingray" and he didn't like that very much...Tried to actually talk me out of it! WTF! "What you don't like Corvettes?" Security questions make the site less secure. If you're forced to use them, then use them as a secondary password, don't actually answer the questions

Lots of women my age would share these kind of quizzes and I thought I was the weird one that took no pleasure in such. Now that you mention it, same ones over the years have announced "Please don't reply to friend requests from me, I've been hacked...again"
I've used "gaslight" as my favorite movie before. Now that's no longer true. Living thru the last few years has cured me of that.
