My fiancee is Chinese and it is difficult to know what is true or false there. They are definitely having some economic and political issues; just like the rest of the entire world.

Well given that his source is Taiwanese (which is compromised by numerous NGOs agitating to separate and isolate Taiwan's major trading partner (i.e. mainland China), I doubt. Very much. It reeks of propaganda, TBH.
Also I have seen this guy before. He is always trying to make out that China is on the brink of something disastrous. Yeah OK, we get it.
China also just brought together 14 Palestinian factions to sign a declaration of co-operation, so that the Palestinians would have a cohesive negotiating stance for a Peace treaty with Israel. Of course the ISraelis then tried to destroy that, by assassinating the guy who was to represent those factions at the negotiating table (who was a skilled negotiator with a PhD, BTW). So China is seriously not impressed with the Israelis.
And China also middle-manned an agreement between the Saudis and the Iranians, which will arguably keep the straight of Hormuz open. Be aware that a vast majority of oil is shipped through here and a closure, due to a perceived need to sanction the West, would mean global economic collapse. So some globallists are quaking in their boots, or grinding their teeth or something.
So am not surprised there are some butthurt types now generating Bullsh*t about China, on the interwebz.
When this whole plan started I thought Trump, Putin and Xi were going to work together for a peaceful world.
Then it seems like some stuff came up that stopped or slowed the plan - including the fact that the bad guys are still poisoning us and interfering with World Weather.
Now I've been getting hopeful that it will still happen somehow but ALL 3 of the leaders seem to be hitting problems as we roll towards the end.
