People won’t like it but Trump was not prepared. She was. She might have lied but she delivered to the undecided voter.
ABC was biased but he did not do well. And I’m MAGA all day.

It’s easy for Kamala bc she was on the offensive all.night. She was given all the questions and probably even the order of the questions ahead of time. She was given Republican talking points to make herself sound moderate. Even an OANN post debate reporter mentioned she used terms that Richard Nixon and Regan had also used. Were you taken in by these lies? Because we know she will sound moderate to get more people to vote for her in spite of her horrible record. The minute she gets into office she will resort back to being a tyrant.
Trump was on the defensive mostly and had to fact check Kamala bc the biased moderators were only fact checking him. I think at the end he hit it out of the park. She had 3 years to show she could fix it all and she’s failed.
What parts went wrong in your opinion?
I agree with OP. Trump's performance was disappointing for these reasons:
He was on the defensive a lot, but his counter-punches were not great, for the most part.
He might have been taken by surprise by the "Central Park 5" claim.
I didn't know about it, but here is the overall story --
One of the (many) problems with these "debates" is there is little time to correct false claims and set the record straight.
His response seemed to me that he was not prepared for that one.
I think it is a bad look, and could become a problem.
He will have to explain.
Overall, Harris was average, but she had help from moderators.
Trump needed a better performance, IMO, to keep the momentum strong.
Doesn't matter, people decided long before this debate. The only people this affects are fence-sitters. It will barely change Trumps massive lead.
Are there really undecided voters anymore? Or, are there people who just lack the courage to admit who will get there vote?
I’m more inclined to believe it is the latter. Both candidates are an open book, both have records that far outweigh rhetoric. Everyone knows what they will get by voting for either candidate.
If someone is claiming to be undecided they either suffer from a massive case of cognitive dissonance, or, they just can’t publicly admit they are voting for President Trump. Why? Because it takes almost zero courage to say you’re voting Dem, but in many places it’s still taboo to admit you’re voting MAGA.
The fake news media's job is to create the illusion of choice and to present her as a plausible competitor. They have set the stage for a believable contest. The election theft fuckery does the rest. Compare and contrast with the last debate with "Brandon"... the fake news media was then assigned the task of setting him up for take down, removal and replacement.
I disagree entirely, however, I'm curious, what do you feel he failed at?
I didn’t realize this at the time, my wife did, that Kamala was pissing off women with her mannerisms and how she was speaking.
Females have been exposed to snarky mean girls since middle school. We recognize one when we see them.
I agree Trump could have mentioned policy a bit more, but at this point he doesn't really have to. Everyone knows his track record, and most people agree we were better economically under Trump. I think that, coupled with Kamala's phony emotional appeal won him the debate.
She tried to come across as Obama and Joe did with wanting to move forward from the devisiveness that Trump only wants to talk about the "past" (their failures) she avoided many questions and his critisms of their policies this way.
President Trump rose to the bait whenever she attacked his ego. He cant help it - I still love the guy but he is sometimes his own worse enemy. I wish he had pressed her on her home buyer plans being only for people of color, wish he had brought up feedback from her former employees when she talked about his former staff members! I wish he had the actual number of 210 members of congress (dems) that voted against saving babies born alive following abortions - some missed opportunities but I dont think he lost any supporters. Was glad he brought up the college loan forgiveness fiasco and defended the Supreme Court.
Looks like the bias of the moderators and fact checking of Kamala's lies are hitting some of the headlines which is somewhat surprising.
It’s a movie. Plot twist. Something red coming in October! Wwg1wga
