That's some good news. If it busts open, we have 746 ounces plus an antique silver set. I never thought about retiring from teaching, but if this hits, I would rather stay home, write books, and work around the property.
Pedes, I need some prayers for myself. I’m in the hospital with an intestinal blockage. The med team is giving it some time to resolve itself before any intervention.
Been here since Sunday night, weak but holding up. The nasal tube is not so much fun but it’s not my first time with one.

Update: the blockage cleared with medical care and no surgical intervention. I’ll be on liquids for a few days and a soft diet for a while. Home from the hospital tonight.

Why is it so hard for boomers to text? I cannot talk on the phone anymore due to multiple multiple reasons but texting never works for them. Am I the only one here having this issue?
You probably are. All the older people in my life do way too much texting and do everything on their mobiles even with their declining eyesight, much to my annoyance because I personally prefer using my laptop rather than my phone.
I know a boomer who has trouble with the tiny buttons. It frustrates him so I showed him how to do voice texts. Maybe show your family how to do it that way.

Yes because there are so many people that really think that Jesus is going to come down here and sit in the White House. These same people must not read the Bible at all, because God always uses man and woman as a tool. We are his vessels.
Could use some prayers for my cousin who just had to make the decision to take his mother off a ventilator after a major stroke and heart attack. She was a lovely, strong-willed and honorable woman that I greatly admire. Praying she passes peacefully and for God’s comfort for all the family impacted.
