Yeah, I don't suppose incursion / invasion into Kursk was a Russian plan, and I don't necessarily listen to what they say about, either side, but my take on it FWIW is that the Ukrainians sent some of their best forces to Russia and the Russians have cut off the supplies to them so that they are unsupplied and under siege and crucially, they are not in Ukraine to defend the front from Russian attack.
Russia had pinned the some of the best Ukrainian troops in Russia and has taken them off the table for Ukraine. If I were the Russians, I would not seek to hurry up any situation there. It's advantageous to them in all ways except to the public look of it to the uninitiated.

Think about this a bit more deeply. The "plan" was the same - both the WH and the BH version - A final war between Israel vs the Arab world.
How exactly the war unfolds and what the result of this war, is what would be different from the WH vs BH perspective.
